As an Aquarius, you prefer to center your thinking on ideas, not money, but this month it looks like you'll have to do both. Last March or April unusual developments emerged in regard to your cash flow. You may have had unusually heavy expenses this year or lost a source of income, because as September dawns you seem to be concerned about credit card balances, a loan, or a mortgage. It's also possible you are not happy with the way a commission, insurance benefit, or other funds due you are being computed.

To be completely honest, most everyone of every sign will have problems with the planetary activity in early to mid-September. Once you get beyond the full moon period of September 15 (plus four days), you will be free and clear, and I promise you will feel much better. I am going to help you get through this, dear Aquarius. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

Last month, the new moon that appeared on August 30 in your eighth house of credit, loans, mortgages, and joint financial matters marked an opportunity to redesign or reorganize your finances. The caveat was that you would have to be ruthlessly objective and practical, for this new moon appeared very close to Saturn. All new moons open a window of two weeks, but the actions you take during that phase will affect you for the entire year to come.

On Wednesday, September 3, Saturn will conjunct the Sun in your eighth house of credit, taxes, and financial obligations. This is a rather sobering, constrictive influence. A financial obligation may be coming due and press on you. Or, a negotiation won't go as planned. You may be upset with a preliminary meeting with your soon-to-be ex who doesn't seem inclined to give you what you feel is due in a divorce settlement. Or, an insurance company may refuse to pay what you feel is fair for a claim.

Whatever is going on could make you feel frozen and unable to think straight. You always have options, of course, but at this point you may not be able to think of any. If this is the case, you need a day to rest - the matter at hand could be draining you. If you get more sleep, you'll become more creative and resourceful. Keep thinking, because you may hit on a very good idea to handle the jam you find yourself in. Here's why.

The very next day, Thursday, September 4, the mood changes completely, when a near-miraculous breakthrough may occur. Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, will send the Sun a beautiful, extremely supportive beam on your behalf. The Sun, if you recall, will be positioned in your eighth house of financial obligations and joint resources. This aspect will be strong enough to help you untangle things. Jupiter is based in your behind-the-scenes sector, so your help will come from someone on the sidelines who will want to help but remain low key.

More good news! Pluto and Jupiter, two financial planets, have been retrograde since April 2 and May 9, respectively, so you've had to do the best you could without the support of these major planets. Now all that changes on September 8 when both planets go direct on the very same day. Watch what happens on September 8 and in the days surrounding that date for the potential good news that finally your situation is turning for the better.

Like everything else in life, we have good days and bad days. You will still have one more challenge to face before you can breathe a sigh of relief.

I am concerned about the full moon period, September 13-18, because it seems particularly wild and unpredictable. Again the subject of money will come up, but this time, rather than feel temporarily sad or a little paralyzed and unable to think, you will more likely feel rattled or broadsided by unexpected news.

On Friday, September 13, Uranus, your ruler, will stand toe-to-toe with the Sun in a precise mathematical opposition. This is an aspect of sudden breakups, but in this case it would more likely be a split due to financial reasons. I should add however that the Sun rules your solar seventh house of partners, ruling both the kind of partners you align with in business and in the romantic sense, such as in marriage. So indeed, this part of the month may bring a severing of ties. It may be that you are the one who throws in the towel when just one more thing occurs that you find completely unacceptable.

Whatever occurs has you thinking about it all weekend. You'll not have all the information until the full moon arrives, Monday, September 15. This time Uranus will align with the full moon and your nerves will again feel stretched out. The moon often points to the domestic condition, so it's possible something is going on within the home or family that has made you upset.

You need to watch your health all month, as the aspect on September 3 and 12-18 will be emotional and draining. As I said earlier, things WILL improve. Have faith, dear Aquarius.

Actually, by January 5, 2009, Jupiter will move into Aquarius for the first time since 1997 and crown you the celestial favorite - the one sign due all the best luck. Many of the trials and tribulations you are coping with now will be but a distant memory by then, and you will wonder why you let those things get you so worked up. You will find an answer so that you never have to go through anything similar again.

Travel seems to be a lovely option all month, and by the month's new moon, September 29, it will be not only a possibility but also a real likelihood. You won't have to wait until month's end to get out of town, however, because from the start of the month, you'll have Mars (action), Mercury (news), and Venus (happiness), all packed into your house of distant travels. You obviously need a break from all the calculator punching you will have to do this month - a trip would be the ideal way to get it. Of course, travel costs, so if you can find a way to have someone else pay, all the better! If you were born on or within five days of January 27, you will benefit most from this lovely new moon on September 29.

Romance will be linked to your trips too, so if you can find a way to get out of town, take it. If you can't go, taking classes in college, through seminars, or weekend retreats will all prove highly inspirational and uplifting. If you are a college student, you are in luck because you would be starting the semester under truly sparkling vibrations for learning. Your thinking is expanding now, and you are seeing just about everything in its biggest and grandest terms.

If you are in contractual talks and ready to sign papers, be sure that you and the other party sign on your best day, September 8, when Jupiter and Saturn will make a positive aspect to one another. This day bodes well for any promise that you hope will have longevity.

If you are not finished with negotiations by early September, then table the signing until October 28 plus one week, if possible. If you can't delay things, then sign the document, but be aware the agreement will not be in place as long as you assume it will be - stay flexible and think of it as a work in progress.

Mercury will be retrograde from September 24 to October 15, so you will need to complete your most important deals and plans well in advance of this date. Shortly you'll see things get delayed, mislaid, confused, or cancelled.

It's fine to travel while Mercury is retrograde as long as you take standard precautions, such as to have luggage well tagged, and remember to bring your air ticket and passport to the airport, as we all tend to become forgetful during these phases. Have your iPod or reading material in case a flight runs late.

If you are due to travel for business, be sure you have correct driving instructions. You'll need to check that your appointments are holding firm too, as things will change at the last minute. Call in advance to be sure.

Romantically, last month's eclipses, August 1 and 16, were likely to bring a certain level of turbulence to one close tie. If you are not happy, you will have to decide whether to get counseling, fix things on your own, or leave altogether. Be mindful that the person who may be troublesome to you could be either a romantic partner or business associate. No matter. By mid-September you will know the score. Rogue planets will test the strength of all your alliances now and if they prove strong, you will sail through this period more easily.

With Venus beautifully angled to your Sun from September 1 to 23, you have lots of reason to stay optimistic. As said, taking a trip to rejuvenate your relationship would be a good idea if you can afford to do so. As mentioned earlier, money appears to be tight, and ironically a lack of money may be the very reason you are feeling tension with a partner. In that case, one of your relatives may offer the keys to his or her weekend cottage to make a restful trip possible. You need a little fun, so see if that's an option.

If you are single, you may want to try a blind date on September 4, a perfect night for meeting for fun, romance, mystery, and intrigue. (Of course you should meet your mystery date in a very public place!)

A past love may enter the picture in September's last week, too. If you are curious, go ahead and have dinner together. If you still have feelings for one another you may rekindle things, and if not, at the very least you'll get closure.

Single or attached, one sensational day - especially if you happen to be traveling - will be September 11, for Venus and Mars will meet. Venus loves to be with her cosmic lover, Mars, but they only get to see one another once a year. This should be an outstanding day full of power and light, and doubly so if you were born on (or within five days of) February 3.

On September 17, Venus will have a sweet conversation with glamorous Neptune, perfect for going to a film, to hear music, or to enjoy another of the arts.

Mercury, the ruler of your solar fifth house of true love, will also meet with Neptune on September 19. Over that weekend Mars will reach Neptune, too.

Fortunately another trend that is equally strong is emerging, and it's all about taking a trip, or dealing with a project that may involve import-export. Spiritual retreats, seminars, and discussions will also glow brightly for you, and you are likely to be deeply touched and inspired by what you learn. This month's energies are so positive that you would be wise to venture forward.
