Others may be heading out of town on holiday, but you will have things to do and many people to see. A vacation can wait, at last for now. A sweet and helpful new moon, July 2, will energize you and allow you to bulldoze through your stack of paperwork and leave your desk clutter free and clean as a whistle. Once you meet lingering deadlines, you'll feel as through a weight has been lifted off your chest, free and as light as a bird. Finish up old obligations, dear Aquarius, because this month's new moon July 2 suggests new ones are on the way. Mercury is no longer retrograde (as it was in June), so you'll be able to expect a lot of progress for a change.

There is another reason you will want to start next month with the decks cleared. You are coming up on two vital eclipses - the first, a total eclipse of the Sun on August 1 in your opposite sign of Leo, will bring important developments to an important phase in a personal or business relationship. To stay or go will become the question, but it may be one you had not anticipated deciding at this juncture in the alliance. The second eclipse will be a full moon lunar eclipse in Aquarius on August 16, putting a strong accent on your own desires. Don't feel guilty about being a little self-serving at that full moon eclipse - you need to be at times, and that'll be one of them.

Eclipses always require a certain number of adjustments to surprise events, so you can't count on having an uninterrupted schedule in August. New discussions will pop up that will take precedence, and those new concerns may prove to be a bit time consuming. Aquarius is a fixed sign, so you like structure and predictability, but life in August will be anything but routine and you'll have to pay full attention to what's going on.

You had an eclipse in Aquarius on February 6, so a subject that surfaced then may be discussed again, with a decision made and advanced to a new stage now. The new moon, July 2, mentioned earlier, will be quite special because it will conjoin Venus, ensuring that work you will be focused on in July will be work you do would likely be enthusiastic about doing. You'll find that the new moon brings information about new projects and assignments - business should be really good - and although your current cash flow seems tight (more about that later), at least the phone will be ringing off the hook, suggesting money will improve later.

You may also get the green light to hire a subordinate this month, or you may decide to hire a helper at home, someone like a gardener, babysitter, or other helper. If so, great! Looking at your aspects, this person is likely to turn out to be a gem. Begin interviewing candidates from July 2 onward. You can keep interviewing people for two weeks - beyond that you probably won't find the person you will choose. I think you will locate the right candidate almost immediately.

You may be offered a new job yourself, but here's where that gets a little tricky. Any new job you are offered now would be similar in level to your old job - in other words, not a step up to more status or responsibility. If that is fine with you, then go ahead and take it. In this economy, it's good to have a job, and sometimes it is not practical to be too picky.

If you want a better job, you need to wait a few months. The new moon will fall in your house of career prestige on October 28, opening a very important opportunity. The following month, Uranus, your ruler, will turn direct on November 27. (Uranus began to retrograde June 26 and always retrogrades each year for five months straight.) Between now and November 27, you are likely to have all the right elements on your plate and you shouldn't really add new ones to the mix.

If you suffered a setback last month near June 26 (possible as that sometimes happens when one's ruler goes retrograde) you may be able to turn things to your favor in late November - in the USA, near Thanksgiving. For now, concentrate on what's on your plate, for that's where the benefits lie.

If you are working in a powerful job now and negotiating a renewal contract, that contract probably represents a financial negotiation, not your career, so those talks might be covered by a different, more financial house. In that case, your contract would be shipshape by late August. With coming eclipses about to deliver news to everyone, but especially to Aquarius and Leo, it may be for the best that things will take time to jell.

If you have important decisions pending, you should read for your rising sign too each month, for the rising sign is equal in importance to the Sun sign. By doing so, you would get an additional timetable to look at and more options. (The only exception would be if you were born at dawn, for you would be a "double Aquarius" - Aquarius with Aquarius rising. The time that the Sun comes up changes throughout the year, so you should do a natal chart in any case to be sure.)

The only way to know your Sun sign is to erect a natal chart, using the day, month, year, city of birth, and time of birth, down to the minute. Your natal chart never changes, so you need to do a natal chart only once. From then on, read for the sign rising on the Eastern horizon, otherwise known as the rising sign. It's THAT important. Let's talk about money now too, which seems to have become a pressing concern for you lately. Mars will enter your eighth house of credit, loans, and taxes on July 1, and this is the house that we generally call "other people's money." Saturn has been here for a year, and has one more year to go before departing in October 2009. Mars will urge you to spend (and even make it necessary), but Saturn will press on you to conserve. As you see, these two planets will give you mixed messages. Saturn, being the slower moving planet, will dominate, so you will need to trim expenses where you can. You won't always have to budget so tightly, but as July begins, you seem to be bent on figuring out a way to get ahead of the game.

Things will probably get a bit tense financially as you get to the exact conjunction of Mars and Saturn on July 10, but after that, almost incredibly, things will improve. This may be because you see the handwriting on the wall and adjust spending accordingly, or because conditions will start to gradually improve. Mars will stay in this part of your chart until August 19, so you will see a light at the end of the tunnel before long. Sometimes Mars stays in a house for many months, as it did for Gemini from the end of September 2007 through May 9, 2008. Be glad this tour of Mars is more typical - a scant seven weeks. Once Mars moves into Libra on August 19, you'll be a much happier camper and home free!

Another trend is starting up this month concerning health, so it's time to start taking tender loving care of yourself, dear Aquarius. The new moon on July 2 will be the most helpful of the year for allowing you to get into top physical shape. You will be busy, but even so, this month you can find the time to get to the gym. Working out will also give you time to clear your mind. It's always hard to go from home to work, and vice versa, without a transition. Working out - whether that be a run in the park, or an hour lifting weights or on the treadmill, or a bike ride around the neighborhood - will give you the gentle time you need to transition to other things. Once you begin your workout plan, it appears this will be the first bonus you enjoy.

A new moon in the sixth house, as you will have July 2, conjunct "look-at-me" Venus, could be considered the golden moment to launch your program. Jupiter, ruling health and well-being, will partner with the new moon, so you should feel like a million dollars fairly quickly. All new moons open a window of two weeks, but the strongest energy will always occur at the early part of the two-week period.

This month would also be your best month to see your dentist, have your eyes checked, and generally see about getting all those little medical checkups done that you know you should do.

Your sixth sense will be operating at an all time high on the full moon, July 18. Jupiter will be close enough to that full moon to allow you to be uncannily prescient about impending matters. If you feel something, heed your intuition. Jupiter is not only the planet of luck, but also of healing, so this full moon will be a good time to get good advance information. Uranus, your ruler, will also be active at this full moon and may even deliver a surprise sum of money. This full moon weekend may find you a little depleted so give yourself all the time you need for rest and restoration. Beg off any strenuous projects, and if traveling, make it as easy a trip as possible.

Romantically, if attached, August will be the more important month for you, for your seventh house of relationships will be brilliantly accented by the total eclipse of the Sun on August 1. Don't try to anticipate what will come up, because it may not be a romantic relationship that is called to your attention - it may be a business alliance instead. You will have to see what news the eclipse brings.

If you have no relationship in your life, then the eclipse may bring you a brand new romantic interest of great importance. My sister met her future husband on an eclipse many years ago. She and her husband are still happily together, and they have two great teenage children - my niece and nephew. Eclipses can create sudden, dramatic, and at times very positive change. Stay optimistic!

This month, once Venus enters Leo and moves into your seventh house of close relationships, you should see a lilt to your social life. Venus in this part of your chart is a little like having a permanent full moon, one that lasts a month! You will have Venus in Leo from July 12 to August 6, more than enough time to grow closer to someone you care about very much. If you are not attached, Venus in this house will give you a certain allure, so you should absolutely be out and about during that phase.

If single, watch July 6, when true love could almost literally take you by surprise. Venus and Uranus will dance together beautifully against the velvet night, imparting with you the possibility of finding great, true love.

Attached Aquarius are likely to find surprisingly positive responses from their partner on Monday, July 14. This day will bubble up with all sorts of good things, and all of them will be a little "off the grid" different than what you expect.

You may nab a moonlighting job or make overtime pay on July 14, 15, and 22, producing money you need in the nick of time. Don't buy lotto tickets though - you will be luckiest with money you earn, not win. Still, this money will be just as welcome, and you'll surely be raking it in!

After a hard working month, what you will need most is a relaxing weekend. You'll have it from Friday, July 18, through Sunday, July 20. If you can take a drive to see a friend in the country and not incur high expenses, then hop in your car and go. If you'd rather stay home, take Friday off and enjoy a long weekend of sleeping late, breakfast in bed, and one or two spa treatments. Ask friends to join you for a dinner in a sidewalk cafe for a perfectly relaxing weekend. Don't be tempted to do strenuous sports or endless sightseeing in a distant city - at the full moon June 18 you'll need rest.
