You'll be in a strongly experimental, adventurous mood this month, and rightly so. You're looking forward to making lots of important changes in months ahead and you're eager to get started. Now that two tough months have passed - the eclipses have delivered their messages in February or March, and Mercury is moving direct - there's no more reason to hold back.

Your key moment to take the bull by the horns will be April 5, the new moon in Aries. The one area that is most likely to change in your life is your home. You may be considering a move - possibly a big move to another part of the country or even to ANOTHER country - or you may be ready to start a major renovation or refurbishing project. Mars is your ruling planet so its position counts a great deal. Mars is currently visiting the area of your chart that rules your living situation. Both Mars and the new moon are in energetic cardinal signs, suggesting you'll want to get started very soon, and that you're ready to take a few big risks, too.

This same part of your chart so emphasized also rules your parents, so you may want to help one of your folks in some significant way. You may take on your parent's financials, help your Dad find a new doctor, or help your mom paint her house - there are plenty of examples.

Having mentioned that your home could be a key area of change, there may be other areas for gain. You may find a way to advance your career, possibly by launching an entrepreneurial idea you've been working on behind closed doors over past months. The sign of Aries is considered ideal for any undertakings requiring courage and energy - a new business would fit the bill. If you are an athlete training for a competition, this same new moon April 5 will be your friend.

Even if you aren't thinking of launching your own business, you can still get ahead in your career this month at the new moon April 5 (plus two weeks) because Jupiter is in your house of fame and honors in 2008, standing staunchly behind you and seeing that you get the credit - and reward - that you deserve.

Keep in mind, however, that you may face strong opposition from various forces at work and at home. Don't come off too strong. There's a brash sense of urgency in your chart these days - a real need to exert your entrepreneurial plans - but you need to make sure all your t's are crossed and i's are dotted first so that you come off as polished and prepared. Financial planet Jupiter will be in excellent angle to both Venus and Uranus, so if you play your cards right, there'll be a surprisingly large sum of money to be made. Take a deep breath, review your blueprints, and if your facts are buttoned up, go out there and slay those dragons.

On April 2, Pluto will go retrograde until September 8. It is common for this powerhouse planet to go retrograde for five months each year. Pluto is in your career sector but rules your 8th house sector ruling financials - but a very specific kind of money, i.e., money that often comes in large chunks rather than being paid out on a regular basis. Eighth house money rules company benefits, bonuses, mortgages, loans, grants, and other types of financials that would come under the umbrella of "other people's money."

As a result of Pluto's impending retrograde, you may see a slight slowdown in negotiations or approvals for a loan or other chunk of cash between now and September. If you need a sum of money, or want to land an important new job, continue to fight for it. Pluto is currently IN your house of fame and honors, and RULES your 8th house of other people's money. Pluto's turn to weaker position only suggests that you may need to make a few changes or adjustments to your plan - that is all. Don't be discouraged. Do plan for extra paperwork and a need for a little more patience. You can - and should - prevail!

Mercury is spending most of its time in Aries this month, but will be upset with Pluto on April 3 and with Mars on April 10. These would be bad days for meetings, as you are likely to lock horns. If you need to sign contracts or other important papers, do so later in the month. I have some favorite dates for you, so let me list those now.

Here are two four-star dates to plan your signings: Do so on April 18 when Mercury is divinely angled to both Saturn and Pluto, and even better, on April 28, when Mercury will be so sweetly angled to Jupiter and Mars. These same dates would be also ideal for key meetings and presentations.

Another day that Mercury will be busy is April 14, but because Mercury will link to Neptune on that day, you'll want to come up with imaginative ideas on this day, not work with practical dollar-and-cents budgets. So circle April 14 as great for being artistic or creative, but not so great for money matters.

Money will be the main subject on April 20, the full moon in Scorpio (that is, this full moon will fall at nearly one degree Scorpio, at the very start of the sign.) Some sort of finality is coming to a major negotiation or it may be that money owed to you will finally come through. It could be that you finalize plans for child support or agree on the division of property at the end of a business or marriage. Or if your company is downsized, you may get your severance package. Alternatively, the money being discussed could represent a sum you asked for and finally get, such as a chunk of venture capital or a mortgage, for example. If you are born on April 19 or 20, or even within four days of these dates, you will feel the effects of the full moon the most.

Since this full moon is so close to 29 degrees Libra, you may also see a relationship end, begin, or clarify. This would only apply to those born very near this full moon, April 19 and 20. Full moons usually intensify emotions, so you may be feeling quite elated or conversely, upset. Let's think good thoughts. So much depends on what has been going on with this person all along, as a full moon will simply bring matters to a head so that you can see things more clearly. One thing is certain: You'll know where your finances stand AND where one close relationship is headed after this full moon. The good part is that you can plan your life with greater certainty in the future.

I will add this: The full moon will be very friendly to Pluto and Saturn, and that should give you reason for optimism, no matter when your birthday happens to fall. Both Pluto and Saturn are currently based in career / work sectors, so you can be fairly certain this part of your life will go well. (This will be true whether you agree with me or not! Ha, ha, you'll see that your career is on track sooner or later! Of course, you may see the truth of this immediately, now!)

All of my very favorite days for you will come later in the month. First, circle April 22, when Mars, your ruling planet, will be in lovely attitude toward Uranus. Expect lots of surprises! I feel they will relate to home and real estate, or to domestic / family matters. I feel you might get a breakthrough. Again, let's hope surprises are happy ones, but I suspect they will be.

Then, a few days later, Mercury will be in sweet conversation to Uranus on April 27, and then Mercury will move on to speak with Jupiter the following day, April 28. As mentioned earlier, these are good days for signing contracts. They also will be ideal for travel and for important meetings, interviews and presentations.

Romantically, this month will be more stable and less prone to sudden upsets or reversals. Uranus, the planet of surprise, was running rampant in March, and many Aries experienced a few shockwaves. (Admittedly, there were some Aries that found the surprises much to their liking!) With Uranus you can never know what will happen - things can go either way. Still, with Mars in lovely angle to Uranus, I feel this is an upbeat, happy day. If you are single and dating, this day is for you.

If you are attached - AND if you are born near April 19 - then this full moon may have an emotional impact, due to the full moon April 20 I mentioned earlier.

No matter what your marital status, Venus' move into Aries from April 6 to April 30 will be a big help to your love life. Venus will increase your charm and even coax you along so that you fully enjoy yourself. After all, the job of Venus is to start love going and also to help you continue to spark things with the one you love. Your charms will be very potent this month, dear Aries!

You may want to take a moment to redo your appearance from April 6 onward. In truth, this would be the best time of the whole year to redo your looks or buy new things for your wardrobe! Making your appearance sparkle will allow you to attract love even more effectively because you'll feel more confident. While you have Venus in Aries, why not experiment with your looks a little? You can't lose.

The weekend of April 19-20 should be delightfully sexy if you're paired up with someone. If not, consider throwing a party at your house that weekend. With Mars, your ruler, in such sweet angle to Uranus, there'd be sparkling conversation and lots of flirtatious electricity in the air that all will enjoy. With the moon in Libra, the party would radiate with a soft luminous glow.

With Pluto newly shining at the very top of your chart, you're making waves wherever you go in your career. You seem ready to turn over the applecart and bolt forward on a plan, especially at the new moon in Aries on April 5 and the days that follow - a good time to do so. If you are an athlete, or are not a professional but take your athletics seriously, begin training for a race or other competition at this time.

You may have a fierce sense of urgency about what you are aiming toward, which is always good - passion always is impressive - just don't overdo it. With Pluto, you'll have power you don't even know you possess, so if people seem a little frightened of you, you might want to soft pedal things a little!

This new moon April 5 may help you in a completely different way - by helping you start to make plans for a major move or renovation. If you are moving, you may be making a big one, possibly even cross country or abroad. Mars - your guardian planet - is currently busy helping you make your home more cozy and comfortable, in any way that may translate for you. You will have Mars' help until May 9, so use it before you lose it!

The full moon on April 20 will bring all sorts of financial discussions into play. You may be seeking a home improvement loan, mortgage, or other funds to launch a dream that will require funds beyond your normal reserves. Saturn, planet of long-range gain, and Pluto, planet of transformation, will both support your plan, so you should get the funding and be pleased with the terms of the deal. With Jupiter so closely angled to Uranus, you should be filled with optimism and hope. You are not dreaming - things DO improve as you move into the second half of the month.

If you need to sign a contract or any important document, do so on April 28, a truly sterling day when Mercury (papers) and Jupiter (luck) will be working hard for you.

Romantically, with Venus in Aries, you sparkle in birthday month. It's an ideal month to ask your stylist for a makeover or to shop for new things for spring. Do so anytime during your best phase, from April 6 to April 30.
