December 2007 - Aries PDF Print E-mail

What a magical month! So many places to see, and so little time! In December, however, somehow you'll need to FIND the time! Five heavenly bodies (count 'em!) will be brightening your long-distance travel sector, all in fire signs like yours, and you will have the enthusiasm, time, and even the money to pack and go. You'll be restless to experience something new, so there's no reason to hold back. Choose to go before the holidays: Any time after the new moon December 9 will be the ideal time to take off. Can't get away? Then people afar may come to you, by phone or in person!

This fabulous trend won't be limited to just your personal life. Business opportunities involving overseas commerce, travel, international relationships, import-export, publishing, broadcasting, and interests involving academia will also shine brightly. If you are in a legal case, again, you'll be favored. With five planets in fellow fire signs like yours, you'll be "in your element" and feeling like a million. In this magical month, everything you touch should turn to gold!

I can't emphasize enough how powerful this trend is, for it's rare to see five planets stack up in the very same sign - Sagittarius - in just one house of the horoscope. This suggests your ninth house - ruling international and domestic long-distance travel, the media (publishing/broadcasting), academia, and legal matters - is where you are likely to get excellent news. These areas will be particularly lucky from December 9 to 17. That's a narrow window but a dazzling one!

Of course, not all of these areas will be important to you, but one or two will likely be, and whatever that is, news could represent some sort of breakthrough. With so many planets in fire signs like yours, you should find that things go your way, and if you face problems or obstacles, they will be untangled more easily than at other times.

If you were born on or within five days of April 6, you will benefit even more.

Something else is about to happen this month, and it concerns the monumental conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto on December 11. Jupiter is the planet of good luck, and Pluto rules transformations and financial power. Pluto is a planet with mass influence, and when linked to Jupiter, its power is quadrupled. This aspect is always a signature of success and usually pertains to financial business ventures.

The last time these two planets were linked, it was November 1994. Since these are slow moving planets, it often takes a few months to feel the benefits, so think back to those years. It's very possible that 1995 may have been your bigger year. If those years were important to you, you will get a chance to further embellish the endeavor or relationship that you began back then. You may now bring it to a new level of sophistication and development if you so desire.

If 1994 and 1995 were not important to you (and you may have been too young, for one thing), you still will be given a chance to start something new now. All I can say is wow! You may think you are having normal meetings that will have average, typical potential, but the timing of your talks tell me otherwise. What you are doing now has huge potential! Mammoth! If you go back to school, the decision will prove to be a wise one - and will increase your earning power more than you think. If you begin to work in the international department of your company, it will have more far-reaching implications than you think. If you take on a contributing editorship in a foreign publication this month, this job will grow beyond your greatest expectations. These are a few examples but you get the idea.

Truly the seeds you plant now can grow and grow, for conjunctions in astrology are considered the most powerful aspect - they signify the start of a brand new cycle. The slower the cycle, the bigger the potential. This is a 13-year cycle - long! At various points in the future, you will get a chance to advance, change, tweak, or end the endeavor you start now. For example, a key point will be August 2013, when Jupiter, in his journey, will oppose the mathematical point this conjunction makes now. I will always tell you when these important points come up, so you need not worry about keeping track of those future dates.

The point is that I want you to view December 11 as not only a stand alone date, but a powerful beginning that may be felt now or later. You can plant a tiny seed that will grow into a redwood tree, a point you will refer back to for many years to come. I am particularly thrilled that the new moon in Sagittarius comes just before this key date, on December 9, for a new moon will always give an aspect extra push and power.

This month has EVERYTHING, because Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will leave Sagittarius on December 18. At that time Jupiter will make its once in 12-year entry into your solar tenth house of career and honors. You will have Jupiter to boost you to the very top of the charts throughout 2008.

I know a young woman who works as an executive in Los Angeles in the entertainment industry and is concerned about her job in the light of the current writers' strike. She is an Aries and not a writer, but is affected by all that is going on around her because of network budget cuts. Despite her fears, her chart is zinging with fantastic good luck for career matters, as is yours, dear reader. She is about to rise very high in her profession, and it's very possible that she won't even have to leave her present employer to do so.

I tell you this to show you how strange life can be. Something that may at first glance be a situation that looks like the end of the world can actually turn out to be a blessing. She has been very loyal - a real team player - during the strike, and she has worked hard and smart, coming up with brilliant ideas and strategies for her regular job on nearly a daily basis. Her chart shows that network executives in her company have noticed. Sometimes you have to endure a little chaos to reveal your heart, your character, and your talent, and all this comes out naturally, without even thinking about it - and that is when the reward comes.

Dear Aries, you are about to move into one of the very best career years of your life, thanks to Jupiter's impending visit to Capricorn beginning December 18. Jupiter will stay in this sign until January 5, 2009. During that time, Jupiter will receive many superb vibrations from many other planets, every month.

Sometimes readers ask me: Does this mean I will turn into a pumpkin when Jupiter leaves in early January 2009? Will I lose ground after Jupiter leaves? No, no - of course not. By the time you reach the end of the year, you will have established your credentials on a whole new level. In fact, the full moon on December 27, 2008, will be staggeringly fortunate for your career status too, so you have one amazing period to look forward to. Everyone will want you in their corner!

It might be a little harder for you to make such quantum leaps after Jupiter moves on, but you will still continue to move up the corporate totem pole. It's just that in 2008, your success will be truly newsworthy, assuming you give your career the care and attention it deserves.

Here is another amazing piece of news: This month, on December 23, we will come to the luckiest day of the year. That's an annual event we all look forward to with great enthusiasm, for it marks the grand meeting of the Sun and Jupiter. In your case, these two luminaries will meet in this same lofty tenth house of fame and honors. (I know I am gushing about this month, but gee, how could I not?)

You may say, "Well, December 23 is a Sunday, and so that means that day won't apply to me." Oh yes, it does! It applies to every Aries! You may hear breakthrough career news on Thursday, December 20, or Friday, December 21, while a golden aspect will still be building in strength. Or, you may get a note in your BlackBerry from your boss raving about your recent performance, and revealing future plans the company has for you. Or, you may go to a small, beautiful holiday party and by chance hear a career tip from a high level executive there that changes your life's direction. There are so many possibilities.

If you are asked to interview for a new job from December 18 to 31, agree to it. Those dates will be laden with luck and great potential. I know - a great many companies will be on holiday at that time, but not all! You will get even more chances to advance in January (just wait until you read next month's report!) and your opportunities will come just after the new moon, January 8. That date will be one of the most pivotal moments of 2008 for your career.

It's just as possible that you are making such strides in your present job that you will get an indication now or in January that you are being groomed for bigger and better things. Trust that you are making an excellent impression on someone in power. If you are self-employed, you are about to capture an important client or enjoy an important write-up in the press.

You'll want to begin interviewing soon, even though the holidays are in full swing. Since Saturn will be retrograde, your offer may come from a VIP from your past whom you liked and would like to work for again. Or, as said, there is also an excellent chance that you would move up in your present company. There is no way you could possibly miss with this wonderful aspect!

If you need to sign a key contract of any kind, choose December 10. That day comes just after the brilliant new moon, and just prior to the highly beneficial meeting of Jupiter and Pluto on December 11, a date astrologers all over the world have been anticipating for years.

If those dates are impossible, you will have two others: December 20, a four-star day when Jupiter meets with contracts-minded Mercury. Or you can use December 23, when Jupiter meets with the Sun. My favorite day for you would be December 10 but you would have to see what the timing is for the other party.

Despite so much going on, you will still continue to be focused on your home, too. This is a theme that first started back in mid-July of this year and that, for the most part, will end in early May, so aim to have things "set" by then. You will get one other chance to focus on domestic, family, and property matters at the very start of July 2008, but that date could turn out to be the date of the implementation of plans you make now. For example, it could be a "move in" date. Your most productive period will be from March 4 to May 9.

This month, you can make an excellent housing decision or buy a new piece of art or furniture on December 8 when your ruler, Mars, is in lovely aspect to Saturn, planet of longevity.

Invite friends in for a trim-the-tree party December 8 if you will be home at that time, or later, on the gorgeous full moon, over the weekend of December 22 - 23 if you'll be away on December 8.

This full moon on December 23 will put a special emphasis on family. You may be entertaining for the holidays near this date, proud to show off what you've done to make your home so stylish. Or, you may choose to fly to enjoy a Christmas celebration at Mom's house. With Jupiter and the Sun conjunct on this full moon, this year's holiday is sure to be beautiful, with a real touch of luxury at the dinner, the decor, the tree - in everything! Even the gift your family has planned for you appears to be a generous one.

This date, December 23, won't only be special for family relationships and family support but also for romance. The Sun rules your solar fifth house of true love, and with Jupiter joining the Sun on the full moon, this night should also be special for love. Some Aries will meet someone special, while others will become engaged or have another romantic experience.

New Year's Eve, December 31, will shine brightest for attached Aries, for the moon will travel through "let's be together" Libra. With your ruler, Mars, about to slip into Gemini on New Year's Day, by month's end, you'll be ready to take a drive and get a change of scene.

If you have no plans for New Year's Eve, drive to a scenic town nearby, perhaps to visit your sister, brother, cousin, or a former neighbor you enjoyed who has moved and who misses you. Any of these options would be the right idea. Duck out of town while you can, dear Aries - your career is about to heat up very nicely, and chances are, you won't be able to leave your desk so easily in the future!

Romance is bright: December 2, 8, 9, 28 21, 22, 30, and 31.

Summary

This should turn out to be a terrific month for you, for a crown of stars will gather at the very pinnacle of your chart. Everything will begin to fall into place at the new moon, December 9. There will be several areas that shine brilliantly for you: international travel and relationships, legal settlements and decisions, news from academia, and anything having to do with publishing and broadcasting, including TV, magazines, the Internet, or any other method of communication.

In this very same part of your chart is the fateful, once in 13-year meeting on December 11 of Jupiter and Pluto. Bill Gates is born with this aspect in his natal chart, as is Warren Buffet - need I say more? It is considered a sure signature of success. While you won't have this aspect forever, as these two gentlemen do, you will have it now, so use it for all it's worth! Plans and seeds you plant this month are due to grow beyond your expectations, just you wait and see! Don't view anything you do this month as ordinary - it all is laden with potential!

As if this were not enough, we also have Jupiter making its once in 12-year move into Capricorn, too. Once here, Jupiter will light your house of fame, honors, and achievement from December 18, 2007, to January 5, 2009. To say that Aries will be the career newsmakers of the zodiac in 2008 is a complete understatement!

You may get a whiff of just how highly you are regarded in certain circles by what you hear at the December 23 full moon, which also happens to be the luckiest day of the year.

Home continues to attract your attention, and you appear to be on a long-term plan to fix up your space to just the way you imagine it to be. Good idea! Once you get to March, your plans will really begin to shape up, as March through early May will be key months to see big progress. By early July, you have another key point, so you'll be all set by mid-year.

When it comes to love, watch who you meet December 23, if single. If you are dating, this could be the year you become engaged - a great time to announce such a monumental decision.

While long distance travel will be bright at the first half of the month, little trips will dot your second half.

New Year's Eve, December 31, seems to be perfect for a short little trip to a nearby town for a party or dinner out. If so, get a designated driver, stay over in a cozy B&B, or take the train. The moon will be in Gemini, so you may visit your sister, brother, cousin, or a neighbor's house, and if so, enjoy yourself to the fullest. It's a fun, relaxed New Year's Eve, and a time when you will have so much to celebrate. What a solid gold year lies ahead for you!
