This month will bring up a brand new trend concerning a change in your living situation. Just after the new moon, July 14, you may decide to move, or you may renovate, redecorate, reorganize closets, and change furniture placement, making you feel as through you have moved. It's been two years since you've seen a trend like this one, but in 2007, it will be much, much bigger than the last time, so you are sure to see something come up.

If your physical home remains constant, then someone associated with your home, say, a family member, roommate, or landlord, will create news that you'll need to respond to in coming months. You appear to be involved in this massive home or family situation voluntarily, not by force. As you read this, you probably don't have any signs yet that the wind is about to change direction. Keep your antenna up, however, because as you get to mid-July, you might.

Before I discuss this important trend, I need to cover the mood that you'll be feeling around you as July opens. (I promise, I will get on to your home and property situation quickly!)

As you begin the month, you may be mulling over an important career development. The full moon that fell on June 30, just hours before the start of July, lit up your house of professional advancement. You may have received an offer for a new job, or received praise for work well done. You may have finished a large project, or heard a "yes" from a client after making a major presentation.

Mercury was retrograde however, so if you did get an offer for a new job or a promotion, you may have felt it was not quite right for you, or you may have felt it was right, but the timing was off. Whatever the reason, you may have decided to pass, at least for now. If you did take the job, your job description or persons you report to will change in some appreciable way during the coming weeks, so stay flexible. If you didn't take it, don't be blue - you're about to get a much better one at Christmas time, or in early January.

This full moon June 30 is meant to be a clarifying moment, when you could see what your professional options are and decide on what career strategy you'll take as you move forward. Give yourself the first three days of July to adjust to whatever developments occurred at this time. Mars was very favorable to that full moon, which tells me that you'll benefit from whatever came up at the time - absolutely, you will! If you didn't hear anything by July 1, you will within a day or two.

Also as July opens, you have Mercury still in retrograde, along with Jupiter, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, and soon, Venus (July 27 to September 8). The most important of these planets to pay attention to is Mercury, for Mercury rules intellect, reasoning, perception, communication, transportation, commerce, and other qualities of life that we need to go right (or suffer consequences!)

Mercury is due to turn to full speed on July 9, but as is the case of every retrograde, this planet won't fully regulate its orbit for a few days after that. This means that the first two weeks of July will continue to be fraught with delays, similar to the situation you faced in June. You need to keep in mind that Mercury brings on the most havoc on the onset date of the retrograde (last month, that was June 14) and on the day Mercury turns direct (in this case, July 9). You will need to wait until at least July 14, the new moon, to make any important decisions stick.

Meanwhile, as said, a host of other planets will also be spinning backwards this month, but the key one to watch will be Jupiter, due to move direct on August 6. Jupiter, called the Great Benefic planet, will be going powerfully direct, always a plus.

Once Jupiter turns direct, this generous planet will open up opportunities to take productive travel, deal with citizenship issues, and help you advance a goal to get a higher university degree or a better job in academia. Publishing and broadcasting projects should move ahead, too. We will talk more about Jupiter next month, but I did want to give you a preview of the good things to come! If you can take your vacation in August instead of July, that would be wise. Do so after Jupiter turns direct on August 6.

Venus will begin to retrograde on July 27 until September 8, and since Venus rules both your marriage sector and your earned income sector, both areas of your life will see less progress during that phase. Be patient - things will regulate after that.

With so many planets in retrograde, you won't be able to get quick progress on almost any level, so have patience. Delays will benefit you!

For all practical purposes, the month will take off on the new moon July 14. This new moon will be sensational for improving your home situation or for helping you solve a domestic question. Your ruling planet, Mars, will be friendly to that moon, and Uranus, planet of unexpected developments, will be supportive too, so you should find developments positively thrilling.

What intrigues me about your chart is that Mars is about to enter Cancer for an unusually long phase three months from now, from September 28, 2007 to May 9, 2008. It is more typical of Mars to stay in one sign for seven weeks, not six-and-a-half months, as will be the case with Mars at the end of 2007 and in early 2008.

Since Mars is your guardian planet, it has double the power of the other planets in your chart. The fact that Mars will be spending so much time in your home sector suggests that an opportunity that will come up in the days just after the new moon on July 14 will be vital to your future. I feel that you will plan in late July, but implement your home / property / family situation from the very end of September 2007 through early May 2008.

It's also possible that you'll start to entertain much more during that phase, or have many houseguests, or you'll have contractors, repairmen, maintenance people, or others walking through your place. (When I say "home," I also include any country house or other piece of property you may own.) If none of these types of situations turn out to be true for you, then it appears that your parent or other relative will need your focused attention. Be ready - this will be a tidal wave of a trend, and one you'll certainly notice. It's only gently cranking up this month.

Now let's turn to other news!

One of your happiest moments of the month will occur on July 20, when Mars, now in Taurus, will signal Uranus, planet of surprise. Financial news should be terrific and come right out of the blue!

With Mars tearing through your second house, it looks like you will be anxious to hit the stores to do serious shopping. Clearly, money will be burning a hole in your pocket. Be careful, dear Aries. You will go through quite a bit of cash between now and the first week of August. Keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde until July 9, so prior to that date it would not be wise to spend lots of money. Purchases made then won't please you nearly as much as those you make from mid-July onward. If you still have money to spare next month, you'll be able to pick and choose as you please. There are lots of reasons to hold the line now so you can enjoy yourself next month.

Fortunately, Mars in Taurus will make you want to spend money, but you'll also become more creative about finding more money as well. With your ruling planet in such a practical, realistic sign, you should do well indeed. In fact, real estate may be the main place you are your luckiest.

Should you get into a financial jam, watch for superb opportunities to make cash on July 20, when Mars and Uranus will work together to create sudden news. The operative word here is "earn" - there will be no get-rich-quick plan, but rather a solid way to make money by working for it. Earning money is always better than winning it because with a little ingenuity, you can generate an almost endless supply.

After all this emphasis on money, home, and family, you'll be ready for a good night out.

One of your most fun social nights to go out will arrive at mid-month on July 11. On that day, Uranus and the Sun will work together to bring one surprise right after another. You'll find you're at the right place at precisely the right time to meet that special person.

The latter part of the month will bring even better news: On July 23, the Sun will move into your house of true love for the first time all year, and you'll enjoy its warming rays. In the weeks ahead, you will start to see the pace of your romantic life pick up, and by next month it will be moving at an even faster rate. Wow!

Circle the weekend of the full moon, July 28 - 29, when a sensational party, wedding, shower, or trip with friends is likely to come up. This weekend should rate four stars for social fun! You will be concerned about money at the time, because to participate you may have to spend quite a bit. It may be worth the cost, though, so see how it goes. If your birthday falls on March 26, this evening will be doubly special for you!

The first few days of July will bring delays and a host of false starts. Mercury will still be in retrograde, so consider taking a holiday. You have another reason that you might want to take life down another notch. The first few days of July will bring important career developments that you may want to mull over. You may have an offer or victory to celebrate, or you may simply feel you have climbed to the top of a professional mountain and now need to explore new terrain. You need quiet time to think, for to announce a choice before Mercury stops retrograding would not be wise. Take your time.

The new moon July 14 will be a powerful turning point for you. The discussions you'll have in the days that follow this date seem to involve a major home-related undertaking. You may have a plan to move house or to begin a complex redecorating, repair, or refurbishing project. It is apparent that you'll need time to consider your many options. You will be implementing your plan in late September 2007 but this project will consume you through April 08. For now, do your research, build your Rolodex, collect swatches, and call for written estimates.

Perhaps due to this above mentioned home- or family-related endeavor, you'll soon find money draining out of your account. You need to be careful, dear Aries. You'll be capable of going through quite a bit of cash from July through the first week of August. Since Mercury will be retrograde until July 9, it would not be a good idea to spend large amounts of cash in the first half of July. Purchases made then won't please you nearly as much as those you make later, on or after July 14.

Money luck will be strong on July 20, when Mars and Uranus will work together to create sudden opportunities. It will be up to you to take advantage of them.
