Last month Mercury was retrograde in your partnership and money sectors, which could have caused you a number of frustrating delays. Unanticipated obstacles may have come up to thwart your efforts, so you were continually challenged to come up with new solutions. Someone may have gone back on a promise or a plan, leaving you without the funds you expected. Or, you may have had at least one large expense you didn't expect, making you feel like you got the "Go back to Park Bench" card in the game of Monopoly.

You showed that you are resourceful and that you can think on your feet, but the frustration had to have been palpable. This month Mercury will normalize its orbit to direct speed on November 1, so you won't have to prove your resourcefulness or staying power anymore, thank goodness.

Under normal circumstances you would have an open road ahead, but Mars, your energetic ruler, is about to settle down for a nap on November 15 when it retrogrades. Mars will stay in that sleepy mode until January 30. When it comes to home or family-related plans, you will need to be patient. Try to be content with a slower pace. Telling an Aries to be patient is usually hopeless, I realize, but during that period you won't have much choice. Mars is the timekeeper of the zodiac, which means it decides what gets done and when. On top of that, Mars holds a much stronger power over you, for Mars rules you.

Mars is now in your fourth house of home and family sector, an area you are practically obsessed about lately. This focus on your home began to heat up in a big way at the end of September and will continue through May 9, 2008. That's a VERY long period for Mars to spend in any one area of your chart, so you may be trying to move, redecorate, repair, or renovate.

The problem is Mars will become weak from November 15 to January 30, 2008, so you will have to take a break. Step back, cool your jets, and wait. You can browse, do research, or get estimates, but it would be best to wait until February to start up again. If you are in the middle of a long ongoing renovation, you may run into unanticipated setbacks where your contractor finds certain problems that have to be fixed before he can proceed.

There is another possible manifestation of this trend that might apply to you: If you have not been able to sell your house, you may decide to take it off the market while Mars retrogrades (November 15-January 30). It would be a good time to rethink your price. Spend more time looking at the housing market in your area and possibly even looking at other properties to see what the going price is now. You may need to "stage" your house by making various improvements before you go back to try to sell it.

This month, if you hope to do something home related before the window to act closes, you can, but you won't have much time.

Ideally, I would like you to schedule your biggest actions at the new moon, November 9, and November 14, the day prior to when Mars retrogrades, for that's when you will have all the right aspects to get the results you want.

I know - it's only a five-day span, and I like November 9, 10, 11, and 12 best, which is an even tighter period. If you want to buy an expensive piece of furniture, go looking in stores now, but wait until those days to order your selection.

As said earlier, Mercury goes direct on November 1, but Mercury is at its WORST on the day it goes direct. (The front and back "bookend" dates are always the most troublesome.) I need you to keep space between that day and the day you act - at least two or three days. That means the earliest you should act would be on Saturday, November 3. Actually, I LIKE the weekend of November 3 - 4 because the mighty Sun and Mars will be in perfect harmony. Those would be my second choice dates to act if you need an earlier date to sign a document or make a purchase.

The new moon of November 9 will fall in your eighth house of other people's money, suggesting that if you need a mortgage, home improvement loan, special help from a government housing program, or other infusion of cash, this new moon will be perfect for putting in your application. If possible, apply November 9 though 12 when the energy will be best and strongest for money.

Actually, you can use the energy of this new moon to get money for any purpose. You may apply for financial aid for college tuition, venture capital for a business, or money for an auto loan, as three examples. If you were due child support that has never come, for example, if I were you, I would apply to the courts on November 12. If you are sending your forms by Fed Ex, then send it on Saturday, November 10 (no earlier) for delivery on November 12.

All new moons provide a two-week door of opportunity, but the energy at the date the new moon appears is at its strongest and gets progressively weaker as you move away from that date. The new moon appears late in the day on November 9, at 6:03 PM, Eastern Standard Time (New York), bringing us straight into the weekend.

Your best help will always happen after a new moon, for each month that new moon will package all the energy of the other planets. This new moon happens to be simply gorgeous, forming what is called a grand trine, which is a rare display of harmony of, in this case, the new moon, Sun, Mars, and Uranus. This new moon should net you a chunk of cash.

So if you are due a commission, royalty, advance, round of venture capital, inheritance, scholarship, insurance payout, back child support, divorce settlement, or other funds, you should be happy with developments. In fact, you may even be able to buy or sell a house.

You may want to enter a contest or buy a scratch off lotto ticket either on November 7 over the weekend of November 10 - 11. Only Aries has this aspect, so go ahead, but don't wager too much! Make sure the day that the lotto results are announced is the date I have listed.

Romantically, your future looks SO bright at long last! You have suffered under very difficult aspects for love during the past year, but those difficulties were due to Saturn, and Saturn finally departed from your love sector last September, not to return again for 29 years. You have every reason to be much more optimistic, for truly, a new day has dawned.

This month, if you meet someone on November 7, the chemistry will sparkle instantaneously and get even better as you get to know one another. This day would also be great for having a cup of coffee with someone you've been fixed up with by a friend, or met online.

The weekend of November 10 - 11 will also be terrific for first meetings, too. Again, the sparks of love should fly!

I am especially enthusiastic about Mercury being in beautiful angle to Uranus (peaking on November 21), making any trip you take at the time near the full moon sparkle brightly. The full moon November 24 will be extra bright for those Aries born March 22, and those born within five days of this date. If your birthday falls in this phase, you should feel the fine effects of the full moon most.

On the same day, November 24, Uranus will go direct after having been retrograde since June 23. Uranus rules your friendship sector, so you will be able to make solid dates with friends now after a period when everyone seemed too busy to link up. If you are one of the kind souls who do volunteer work for a charity or other humanitarian / community cause, you will find that things will accelerate on your project from November 24 onward.

As you get close to month's end, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will by then be very close to Pluto, a simply fabulous aspect that comes but once every 13 years. These two planets are meeting in your ninth house, very close to the very top of your chart. On December 11, Jupiter and Pluto will conjunct. You will hear me talk about this incredibly positive aspect in your December forecast, but I want you to put a gold star on your calendar now.

How this energy will help you has to do with all the parts of life covered by the ninth house: long distance travel, relationships with foreign people, and anything having to do with publishing, broadcasting, the Internet, and academia (whether you are a professor, teaching instructor, or college / grad school student). This is a huge trend about to hit next month like a massive space ship the size of Manhattan on your front door. You may see some signs later this month that this is due, and it's all for good!
