As the month starts, you'll be concentrating hard and in somewhat of a thoughtful, somber mood. On September 3, Saturn will conjoin the Sun in your third house of perception and thinking, so it seems something will be weighing on your mind - it might be money. You seem to be involved with parents and/or other family members too, so it's possible that you'll need a loan from a family member - if so, you probably could get it. Even so, you seem very hesitant to ask. Do so anyway, for you will see on September 4 that you do have support from many quarters.

Alternatively, near September 3 you may be thinking a lot about the health or well-being of your father, your partner if you are in a relationship with a man, or a male boss. I am naming possible males in your life because the participation of the Sun in this aspect points to a male, and when combined with Saturn, this person is often an authority figure. If this person should become ill, the fact that this is showing up in your chart suggests there may be something you can do to ease the situation - you'll want to lend a hand.

Saturn conjunct the Sun can be a weighty aspect, one that may make you feel a little tired, overwhelmed, and more sensitive to criticism. Try not to overreact. Take the helpful parts of the feedback and leave the rest. If you find that you're suddenly more prone to see the negative side to any venture - the risks rather than possibilities - then try treating yourself to more rest. Don't decide until you feel better. In a day or two you'll feel rested and your optimism will return.

The third house, where much of the action will take place this month, also rules agreements, contracts, leases, and other important papers that would require your signature or handshake. As September opens, you may be busy negotiating such an agreement. Be mindful that with Saturn so strongly involved, anything you sign in early September would be in place a very long time, so be sure to look closely at all the clauses. This could be good news, however - most of us WANT contracts to last a long time!

As mentioned earlier, you will have good opportunities to travel in September, and as the month opens you may have a short trip on your agenda that your sweetheart or spouse may suggest. It looks like you could use a breather, so take the chance if it should come up.

These trends will affect all Cancers, but will be especially strong if your birthday falls on June 28 or within five days of June 28.

September 4 brings you one of the sunniest aspects of the month, a lovely interplay between lucky Jupiter and the Sun. If you were worried about money as the month begins, this day could bring good news from a person based in a distant city. Publishing, broadcasting, Internet, and other media also shine and could be the source of happy news.

More good news! Jupiter and Pluto will both turn direct orbit on September 8 after having retrograded for months. Pluto began to retrograde on April 2 and Jupiter on May 9 of this year. Since Pluto is in your sixth house ruling work and health, you will find your projects finally move ahead more aggressively. You'll even be more able to take better care of yourself too from this point on. If you have a health concern, finally the news will start to turn more positive, and if you've been working on a fitness routine, you'll start to see solid progress.

At the same time, September 8, Jupiter, planet of good fortune, now touring your marriage and partnering house, will also move forward at a much more energetic pace. If you are part of a partnership in either the romantic or business sense, your partner will become very helpful from now on - even if this person hasn't done much for you at all in the past five months! You should get a signal that Pluto and Jupiter are in stronger shape - watch the dates that surround September 8.

One area that will be a hands-down winner for you all month will have to do with your home or other property. With four friendly planets bobbing enthusiastically in your house of home and family - including Mars (action), Venus (beauty), and Mercury (news) - add the Sun (authority) from September 22 onward, and you can't fail.

You may be planning to move or have plans to fix up your home so you can entertain friends later as the winter holidays come closer. (The home industry requires lots of preparation, as everything seems to take three months for delivery, so your timing - ordering things now - is right on target!)

Alternatively, you may be searching for a new roommate, making repairs, stocking up on linens and accessories, or painting a couple of rooms. You should see good progress in any home, property, or family-related goal, especially during the first half of September. Mars hasn't been in this house in two years, and Mars is the one planet you need to make significant progress.

If you need to sign a lease, order furniture, or hire a contractor, do so between September 1 and 11.

Mercury will turn retrograde on September 24 and you will feel Mercury's gears changing much earlier. To make matters a bit harder, Mercury will be retrograde in the area where so much activity will be taking place - your fourth house of home. This suggests you may veer off course and make a few mistakes and then have to backtrack, or you could see an agreement or impending sale fall through at the last minute. You can't figure that anything will be a "done deal" until it really is completely finished.

Do not sign any important papers or initiate any major plan or agreement with a roommate, contractor, perspective buyer, seller, or landlord after September 11, even though Mercury will not technically retrograde until September 24. You will have too many problems with the deal if you do. Mercury will regulate its orbit on October 15, but you will feel Mercury's static from until October 17 or 18.

Before you get close enough to be ensnared in Mercury retrograde territory, one day that will really shine for home-related developments and decisions will be when Venus and Mars meet on September 11. Venus and Mars adore being together - they have been on assignment in other parts of the solar system so they haven't seen each other - so as you can imagine, they're REALLY excited to see one another, and you'll benefit! This is a planetary combination like none other.

You can use September 11 to your advantage, and you've several choices. If you hope to find beautiful new additions for your home, from choosing a new rug or couch to paint colors or new accessories, home aesthetics of all kinds will be favored, so later you should really enjoy your selections. If you love the way your home looks, you can instead decide to entertain on this day, with equally sterling results.

As you edge closer to mid-month, however, tensions will build. September 13 is a potentially difficult day, when Uranus will oppose the Sun. Uranus rules one of your financial houses (the eighth house of other people's money) and the Sun rules the other (the second house of earned income). This suggests some sort of untoward surprise that seems to come out of left field. I hope I am wrong about this, dear Cancer. Keep your antenna up.

The houses where Uranus and the Sun will be visiting are the houses of travel, so you should be very careful to have your car in excellent condition if you expect to be on the road. You could be sidelined with a costly repair, or a trip may cost you much more than you anticipated for other reasons. People you encounter on this day are likely to be a little raw, so don't inflame any situation - avoid all controversial subjects and if someone seems to be reacting erratically, be diplomatic.

The heat of this aspect seems to build through the weekend until you get to the full moon, September 15. Full moons exert very high energy for more than a day, and they exert a high level of energy until they have completely waned, so add plus four days. This is a very volatile full moon, one that will make you and everyone else quite emotional. You may feel overwrought and strung out, so try not to have a packed appointment schedule mid-month.

Should you have an altercation with a friend, relative, or anyone else over this full moon, the experience could leave a lasting scar. You may have to be careful about what you say, but considering how "hot" this full moon will be, it may be nearly impossible for you to hold back.

You are a Cancer, ruled by the moon, so you feel these full moons more directly than most. I believe most people will feel a bit wrung out by this particular full moon simply because Uranus will be so prominent and bring up such unexpected news.

Still, this full moon is in compatible water sign Pisces, so if you are one of the lucky Cancers born near July 13 you may do well with this full moon despite the high level of volatility it will bring. Experts say that someone always benefits from prevailing conditions - no matter how wild they may be at this point of the year, you may find that silver lining and exploit it. Let's hope so!

An interesting twist is due at the end of the month. A lovely new moon, September 29, will appear and help to dissolve many of the problems you may have encountered earlier, especially in regard to a home or family plan. Mercury will still be retrograde, but the difference now is that the new moon will bring opportunity that you didn't have before.

Here's how things could play out. You may have lost a bid on a house but are invited back later to enter another bid because something went wrong with the person who got the house over you. Or maybe you just could not afford a certain piece of furniture or major appliance and then find it goes on sale and you can get just the item you wanted! Something that you thought was gone could come back - much to your delight. Someone from your past could come back too, and it may be a family member. If you've searched for a biological parent, for example, you may finally meet at this time.

The end of the month would be a good time to schedule a major home cleaning or repair effort, or even plan to move into a new space (as long as you signed the lease or closed on the house earlier, ideally prior to September 12.)

Romantically, next month will be your big month, but this month holds some possible pleasures, too. You may be smitten with someone who lives in your apartment building or who is based near where you live.

Or, you may find that love grows when you invite several friends over for drinks or a home-cooked dinner. A party you give at home would be a super success this month, especially on or very near September 11.

If you have been dating someone seriously, you will find you both move into rare sync after Jupiter turns direct on September 8. Jupiter, now in your close commitment house, could move you both toward an engagement.
