November 2007 - Capricorn PDF Print E-mail

2007 was probably a quiet year, a time when you would decide what, precisely, you want for your future. You may have spent a lot of time working on building a firm foundation for a future enterprise that is dear to you, or deciding which relationships needed to stay in your life, and which one(s) had to go. The more thinking you did, the better you will find your New Year to be.

You are now in the wings, ready to go on stage. The orchestra is tuning up, and the audience is full of anticipation. On December 17 next month, Jupiter, the planet of gifts and luck, will enter Capricorn. At that time you will be named celestial favorite of 2008, a crown you will wear all year.

We only get approximately seven of these wonder years in our lifetime if we live into our mid-80's, for Jupiter only comes to visit our sign every 12 years. The last time you had this kind of favor it was 1996, but this coming year promises to be much, much bigger because Uranus will be in a far better position than it was back then. In that sense, you probably have no idea how thrilling 2008 will be.

I often talk about the "Luckiest Day of the Year" - it's an annual event due next month, on December 23. That's when the Sun will meet in conjunction with Jupiter, and this time in your sign, Capricorn.

If this is your birthday, well, you've just won the cosmic jackpot, for you will have a double dip of pleasure, not only in December, but all year. Luck will be everywhere, and you should find you are extraordinarily happy in the coming year. If you have been ill, Jupiter is also associated with health and healing, so you are likely to feel much better, and may even recover completely.

We will talk more about your glorious year next month in your December forecast - this is one you will not want to miss - but for now, you have the key date, December 23. Plan to do something special that you'll always remember. It could be a trip to Paris to celebrate the holidays, but it could also be something like a beautiful dinner out in a four-star restaurant in your city with someone you love.

This month will brim with social activity, for you have an unusually sweet new moon in your sector of friends, acquaintances, parties, and events on November 9.

You may be involved with a community, charity, or other organized group this month too, and if so, you may be busy launching a wonderful fundraiser event. If so, it will do very, very well. You stand to gain enormously through friends and groups this month, for truly this is where all your personal growth will emanate.

This new moon that will appear on November 9 will form a grand trine - perfect harmony - with Mars in your partnership sector and Uranus in your communication sector. These planets will work in unison with the mighty Sun and new moon in your friendship community / humanitarian (eleventh house) sector. Together they will bring benefits to all the areas ruled by the houses they are in: friendship, communication, groups, and friendships.

You haven't had a really perfect new moon like this in ages, so it's sure to bring you, the zodiac's hardest worker, a month filled with fun. If you have been toying with the idea of joining a club or organization, send your application on November 9, 10, 11, or 12, your best days. You will benefit from this club in ways you can't quite anticipate now.

If you were born on January 7 or within five days you will enjoy this new moon in quite a powerful way.

You have an unusually strong emphasis on a partner these days too, a trend that began last month, suggesting that your partner is creating a lot of news in your life. Depending on what it is, he is either driving your relationship closer (likely) or apart (not likely).

Mars is in your partnership and marriage house, and admittedly, Mars has been known to cause a few disagreements to erupt, but they probably will not be serious.

Mars will go retrograde from November 15 to January 30, underscoring that possibility. During this phase you may find hidden resentments or sorrows come to the surface whether you planned to or not.

Although it appears that you will not solve things until late January by the dates of the retrograde listed above, in truth, that is not the case. Mars is due to slip backward into Gemini and so it will take time for Mars to journey back into Cancer, the place we need Mars to be to see a final resolve. Hence, it will take four months, until March, for things to fully straighten out.

Don't be blue - your partner appears to be good for you. It is just that you seem not to agree on some rather large points these days. You need to explore the question more fully and perhaps try out a range of solutions. In the coming weeks and months, Mars will help you clear the air by forcing you to address these concerns once and for all, before they grow bigger. This is not a bad sign - it's actually a good one!

If you are newly dating, but are not married or in a business partnership, you may find that the two of you have advanced your relationship too quickly. Now you may have some second thoughts about that. When Mars retrogrades, you will have a chance to slow things down just enough to suit you, allowing you time to reflect on the relationship. You will have more time to get to know one another at a more leisurely pace.

Mars rules your solar fourth house of home and family, so you may find that a house you hoped to sell suddenly doesn't sell, or that you can't find the right space to move into. Or, your partner might not agree with you on where to live, or how, or whether you should buy or rent. Those sorts of property-related questions and disagreements could come up now.

Alternatively, your family may have an old problem that will come back for a new solution, even though you thought you settled it a long time ago! There will be no way around discussing it. This time, however, you may hit on the perfect idea that everyone will finally say they like. Stay optimistic!

If you are in a business partnership, you may find that in coming weeks you can't agree on certain points. Talks may drag on and plans may go into limbo. You won't be able to do much about that timetable. However, if you don't NEED your partner's opinion or presence, then don't ask - work independently! The more you can work on your own in the coming months, the better.

If you were planning to formalize a partnership, you might want to wait until March 7 to form it, for that's the new moon, and a time when all should be right again. No business should be started while Mars is in a weakened position - the venture won't have the right energy from Mars in its birth chart, and profits may suffer as a result. If you can't sign papers on November 9 - 13, wait.

Romantically, you will do far better in December and even better yet in January! Sit tight, dear Capricorn. This month Venus will be in your fame and honors sector, so you will be busy garnering all sorts of praise from higher-ups. Mercury is no longer retrograde in your career house (as of November 1), so the delays you experienced last month should rapidly become a distant memory.

With the parties and new friends you will make this month, you'll have ample opportunity to meet and greet. Just remember, you have to leave the office for anything to happen! You are a hard worker - sometimes it's a good idea to stop and turn off the light on the way out!

Speaking of working hard, at month's end the full moon on November 24 will fall in your work sector, so it appears that you will have to finish up one or two projects right before that date, or just after that date.

In the United States, that weekend will mark the Thanksgiving weekend, a four-day holiday, so chances are, if you live in America, you will feel the effects of this full moon on Monday, November 26. All full moons have an area of influence of plus or minus four days.

You probably won't want to dive into that project when you come back on Monday, so do yourself a favor and get it signed, sealed, and ready for delivery on Wednesday evening, November 21. If you do, you'll look forward to a pressure-free environment.

Alternatively, you may see a peer or subordinate co-worker quit to leave for a new position. You may be sad to see this person go.

Overall, you may feel depleted near November 24, and if so, rest. Perhaps you will be having your family over for Thanksgiving dinner or, if you aren't American, you may feel tired from all the work you had to do the previous week. Take it easy.

You'll want to be in top form in December - your big month - when many planets will come 'round to Capricorn to celebrate YOU. You will be named as the very luckiest zodiac sign for 2008! You'll wear the crown for a full year! At long last your trials and tribulations that you suffered from mid-2003 to mid-2005 appear to be receding into history. You won't ever want to revisit that period! It's over and done. Lock and door and throw away the key!

A new day is dawning for you, and a new emerging period of enormous expansion. This special favor couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

Summary

Spend this month tying up loose ends. December will be a bigger month than you can imagine and set you off on a whole new direction, but to benefit from all that will be on tap, you must be prepared. Decide what you like about your present life and choose which elements and obligations you would like to drop. Only by creating space will you be able to add new and much improved conditions in the coming year.

If you have been dating seriously, it looks like the relationship has moved forward quite rapidly, perhaps a bit faster than you intended. When Mars moves into retrograde from November 15 to January 31, you will have an opportunity to slow things down if you like, or even leave if you feel this person is not right for you. There's opportunity for a mid-course correction too - if there are hidden resentments, talk openly about them.

Indeed, when it comes to partnerships, don't be too quick to throw the baby out with the bath water - there is some indication this person may be a good influence. You may simply need to adjust to a new level of emotional intimacy or clear up a number of misunderstandings.

If starting a business partnership, unless you can sign papers this month on November 9 (late in the day, as the new moon appears 6:03 PM Eastern Standard Time) or on November 10, 11, 12 (your best day) or 13, you may be wise to wait until March 7, the new moon, because by then you will have excellent aspects again.

If you are single, the year-end holidays next month will bring unprecedented opportunities to meet a suitable new partner, so spend November giving your looks a fresh update. With such glittering vibes on the way, you'll want to feel that you look your very best at the coming parties you'll be attending.

Speaking of social events, beginning with the new moon, November 9, invitations should begin to fill your mailbox. The range of invitations you are invited to could be remarkable - from a number of "A" list charity events and pre-holiday festivities to meet-ups with friends for brunches, shows, and shopping expeditions. One way or another you'll be stepping out, and all of it is due to be fun.

By month's end, you will need to finish up a large work project that will need to be shipped, due to the full moon, November 24, plus or minus four days. With Venus moving through your house of career, you will have enormous support from VIPs from November 8 onward, so stay confident. The buzz about you is building!

You will be putting out a great deal of energy at month's end, and as a result, you may feel you are dragging your feathers. Be sure to give yourself enough time to rest, as you will need it. A spa package taken at this time will do the trick to making you feel tiptop again.
