June 2008 Gemini Horoscope PDF Print E-mail

June brings you a rare chance to take a breather - it's birthday time, a perfect excuse to treat yourself to some much needed rest and relaxation. Travel will be very possible this month, whether for fun or business, and even if you have to go for work, the change of scene will still be welcome. Perhaps you can build in a day or two to investigate your surroundings and enjoy the local charm.

Mercury began to retrograde on May 26 and won't go direct until June 19, an indication that life will be somewhat slower than usual in June. Usually you would groan upon hearing about a stepped down pace, but these days, that news could be positively welcome. You need rest, dear Gemini. Don't fight this retrograde - embrace it.

Mercury always acts like a wild child on the last date of its retrograde. Be patient until June 23 and don't announce or take decisive action prior to this date. If you act earlier, whatever you are in such a rush to do won't turn out well if you initiate during the retrograde period. You might as well take a trip, as nothing of earth-shattering importance is likely to occur while you are away. Gemini is always concerned about missing something. This time, you needn't!

Venus will be in Gemini until June 18, a perfect time to reconnect with friends at lunches and dinners and to make weekend jaunts to country cottages. Ordinarily, it would be a good time to buy new things to wear or to try out a new look at the hair salon or barbershop, but with Mercury retrograde, you'd do best to window shop rather than cash register shop! Wait to spend all your birthday gift money at the end of June.

Even so, the new moon June 3 will give your life a lovely boost. This new moon will bring in the energies of Venus and Mars, giving you plenty of sex appeal. This new moon will set in place more opportunities to travel to nearby resorts and towns, to give interviews and get needed publicity (if appropriate), and to even get caught up on some interesting tidbits of gossip. It's a great time to interview for a job (but not give final word) because several planets will give you the edge. You'll also come across as articulate, for planets in Gemini will have you phrasing your thoughts perfectly.

If you were born on or very near June 3, you will be most affected by this positive and happy new moon. In fact, your whole life will open up to a new path in the year ahead - an exciting prospect.

Mars is now in Leo, a fire sign that works well with your air sign element. You'll want to entertain and be entertained, and crave a bit more pampering. You may want to buy a couple of tickets to a concert, play, or ballet, or schedule a night in a restaurant you always wanted to try, perhaps one that has seating in a pretty spot outdoors.

You may be talking about a new writing assignment, perhaps one that came up last month, or with an old, former client that you haven't worked with recently. Writing, speaking, lecturing, blogging - all are areas of gain for you this month. Gemini is known to be fast, however, but slow down long enough to think about what you are doing. With Mercury retrograde, errors could slip through in your documents. Or, you may say something in a way you regret later, when someone misinterprets what you meant.

A home-related matter, such as an impending move, renovation, or refurbishing plan, may have proven to be somewhat arduous or burdensome. Try not to do anything about your home-related endeavor until month's end. You don't want to spend money (not with Mercury retrograde) nor sign any important papers. Be smart and wait until June 23 or 24, as you draw closer to Saturn's lovely interaction with the Sun. Mercury will be regulated by then, so if you make your decision or announcement at that time, you are likely to stay with it.

One relationship will be the focus of the full moon on June 18. You may have a tough time with someone who comes on much too strong. The moon will conjoin Pluto, now back briefly in Sagittarius until November, and then never again in your lifetime - a placement you won't miss once gone. It appears to be a woman who is being forceful, and because Uranus will be involved too, this person seems to be connected to your work. This woman may threaten you in some way, perhaps in an attempt to damage your reputation or force you into accepting a position you don't want any part of. Use this person's force that is being directed toward you against them by applying truth.

Still Pluto has another side, and will act like a little hard hat contractor, digging deep within the foundations of your relationship this month. You never know what Pluto will turn up, but whatever it is, it will be illuminating. Often it is something - a feeling, a secret, or a fear - your partner has long buried, but that has reference to your current relationship. Whatever the full moon is pushing to the surface has to be looked at and addressed - there is no turning away from it. This is all very cleansing and good, so it's nothing to fear.

Pluto is famous for tearing down what is no longer needed and setting out to gradually (and that's an important point - gradually) rebuild a new structure that will be more suitable. This may pertain to a relationship or even the house in which you live in together - you may tear down one and build another, or simply add on a room!

Saturn will be in perfect angle to Pluto, suggesting that there will be a good outcome, so keep that in your pocket. Also, when a full moon falls in Sagittarius, we always look to Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, for what Jupiter might be up to at the time. Jupiter will send Uranus a positive vibe, further suggesting a good outcome. So stick to your guns, dear Gemini. I feel you CAN prevail, even if it turns out to be hard to do.

This full moon could be a romantic moment, and since it will be operative plus or minus five days, the relationship culmination may have something to do with a personal partner. You may be getting married and are simply tense over all the details that have to be put in place. Venus opposed to Pluto will bring fullness to your feelings - this could be quite tender. Or, if you are already attached, you and your partner may see an important endeavor or goal come to fruition. Pluto opposed to the Sun is where the tension and pressure may derive, but as said earlier, I still think you can work though the issues presented at this full moon and get a solution you like.

Romance and fun will be best on the following days: June 3, 6-7, 11-12, 16-17, 21-22, and 25-27. I particularly love the two weekends of June 6-8, and June 21 and 22 for you!

Summary

You're ready to set out in a whole new direction. With a gaggle of planets in Gemini gathering 'round to help you celebrate your birthday, you're ready to make many changes, big and small. While you're feeling so adventuresome and confident, it's time to sharpen your pencil and get started drafting your new blueprints! You'll be signaling to others that you're new and improved, from the inside out - and that you also mean business!

Once you get past the Mercury retrograde, June 1-19, you can, if you like, launch a brand new venture, confident it will take off without a hitch. (Don't be tempted to start earlier, however, as Mercury retrograde is never a time to begin anything new. Wait until June 23 to begin for best results.)

You may travel quite a bit in June, especially after the new moon June 3. Check the Internet for weekend deals - you may luck into an exceptionally sweet bargain. If you planned ahead and are eager to check into your summer cottage share, say, in the Hamptons or other seaside resort, it's a good idea! Be sure to tell friends you'll be "on" for the weekend of June 6, when Venus and Mars will be so beautifully supportive to make that weekend fun!

Money won't be a problem this month, not with Jupiter so beautifully angled to Uranus. If you are paid on a bonus, commission, or royalty basis, you will be especially fortunate now - friends will know the cocktails will be on you on casual Fridays after work. Splurge a little - you've had quite a rollercoaster ride career-wise earlier this year (think back to March), but by now you've wrangled all your dragons to the ground and can breathe a sigh of relief. You are still standing - and your foes are not!

If your apartment or house needs sprucing up, schedule June 25 as your day to begin to make long-term changes you will long enjoy. If selling or buying property, this is the day when the offer will likely prove to be just right.

A relationship will be all you can think about at the full moon June 18. With the moon so very close to Pluto, you'll be in the right frame of mind to delve into the deepest regions of your partner's psyche. Although you often find these types of discussions a bit too intense, this time you'll find the process illuminating. It is very likely you'll learn many new things about your partner at this full moon, and it's hard to say if you'll be delighted or horrified. How that information will affect your relationship will depend on what you hear and how you feel about it. Pluto will certainly bring up long-buried feelings, and possibly a secret or two. If you need to have another follow-up heart-to-heart session, plan it for June 30 when Pluto and Mars will increase rapport.
