Money has been a problematic area, but this month you may get enormously good news about your finances at long last. Watch what types of offers and news you receive just after the new moon, March 7 and in the two weeks that follow.

This new moon will be extraordinary. The moon and Sun will link to Uranus, planet of out-of-the-blue surprises, so whatever happens will be something you won't see coming. It is also possible that you will hit on a brilliant creative idea that nets you quite a bit of cash in time, but that the idea would be germinated now. A new moon has a lifespan of six months, but the seeds you plant now, within days of the new moon's appearance, will set up the situation to come.

The house being so lit up will be your 8th house of other people's money, ruling commissions, royalties, bank loans and mortgages, bonuses, licensing fees, venture capital, sponsorship, pensions, severance, inheritance, prizes, and other windfalls. This is where your luck will be centered, either though a gift, prize, or special check given to you. The money you receive will allow you to follow a dream, whether that is to buy a house, go to college, or start a business. You name it - this month the new moon will allow you to find the cash.

Since this new moon will bring sudden news, it looks like whatever financial gains you make now will be linked to efforts you've made earlier. This is not necessarily the way things will go, but it seems likely.

I would like to draw your attention to March 8 too, when the Sun and Uranus will be conjunct. This day will again bring money luck, so you might as well buy a scratch-off lotto ticket and test your luck. If you don't win, check your mailbox - someone may have sent you money you would have never expected.

This month Uranus will make you powerfully intuitive and friends will say you're downright psychic. Follow your own counsel. You'll display a kind of street-smart savvy that others will find strikingly accurate - uncannily so. The other reason I am so excited about the offers and opportunities you will get as a result of the new moon March 7 is that Jupiter, giver of good fortune, is now positioned in your work assignment sector, and will beam a special communication to this new moon. Often when a new moon is conjunct Uranus it becomes terribly volatile. However, with generous Jupiter at the perfect degree to assist the moon and Uranus, that volatility disappears. Moreover, Jupiter will see to it that the money you do see will be generous. Jupiter is based in a work-oriented house, so it looks like a side assignment or new business (if self-employed) will come in. The money you make should be excellent. A new moon will open a door. It may take you days or months to see the final result. What will matter is that you take seriously the opportunity that comes up. Investigate what's on tap - don't dismiss the offer. Of course, avoid get-rich-quick schemes - you don't need those. Your luck is going to be powerful enough to allow you to materialize money without having to resort to those fly-by-night scams. You may have to work on your opportunity for weeks or months, but what matters is that the opportunity will surface now.

A better salary will NOT be your area of gain - all your luck will stem from this other, 8th house that I just outlined. It is more likely that you will get one large chunk of cash rather than see more in your weekly paycheck. In fact, if you are negotiating a new job, you may be disappointed with the salary offered. You may be able to negotiate better perks, such as excellent health insurance, paid vacations, a signing bonus, or other "extras." If you are downsized, go in and get yourself a golden parachute package - you have the right aspects to get a generous offer.

This month is also a good time to review your savings and debt management, and to review how many credit cards you have and the APR that you pay. Mercury is the ruler of your 8th house, and since this planet will be so beautifully angled to other planets throughout March, you'd have a lot to show for your efforts.

Now let's turn to a different subject - a lucrative project that appears to need your complete and total concentration in the coming eight weeks.

Mars, the energy planet, on March 4 will move into your 12th house to stay until May 9. Once there, Mars will herald a period of super-high productivity while you work alone, in solitude behind closed doors. You had hosted Mars in this house in late September through early November, and you probably accomplished a great deal at that time. However, from mid-November onward Mars shut down in retrograde action and all the good momentum you had built up suddenly stopped.

Now, on March 4, Mars will be wide-awake and moving back into the same house where it was when you displayed all that awesome productivity. Between now and May 9 you will put the final touches on a project you are working on that you know is not quite ready to show to the world. Work alone. If you feel blocked, take walks, write notes, and simply think. Go to museums and plays, read books, and find other sources of inspiration. Alternatively, you may do volunteer work with people who are confined in these types of facilities. Sometimes it works out that when Mars is in the 12th house, rather than know someone who is going through treatment or an operation or who is confined, it works out to be you. This month or next, you might want to talk over a problem with a psychiatrist (no confinement indicated if it is this, so don't worry!) or you may consult a medical doctor or dentist about a problem that needs tests, procedures, or surgery. Actually, surgery would be very possible this month, as planets in the 8th house, which you have at the new moon, March 7, would indicate the "end" of a problem when the surgeon takes out the part of you that is troubling you. In any of these instances, it would be an ideal time to go get better - the 12th house rules the mind and body, and with help, can allow your mind and body to heal. The 8th house, which is also lit up, rules all kinds of transformations, like the kind we see when a butterfly emerges out of a cocoon. That, of course, would be you! There is one single day, March 7, when Mars will oppose Pluto, an aspect that could produce quite a bit of tension. This is not the first time this has happened lately - you had experienced a similar opposition between these two planets, Mars and Pluto, on September 21, 2007, and again when the New Year began, on January 2. This month, near March 7, I sense you will feel the most stress from a looming deadline or due to a tangle with an uncooperative co-worker.

To be clear, March 7 is ALSO the date of the new moon, which will be a positive time for you, but concurrently this opposition of Mars and Pluto will admittedly create some tension, but only for a day or two. The new moon, on the other hand, will open a door that will allow you to plant seeds for a good two weeks. What you do then will affect you for at least six months to come, and possibly longer.

A contractual agreement will likely come to finality at the full moon on March 21. This full moon will bring mixed aspects, so you will need to pay strict attention to the clauses and details of any accord you are asked to sign. You may have an ideological difference of opinion with the other party about certain points, and be stymied on how best to proceed. Those details will have to be worked out. Take your time.

This full moon on March 21 will have the Sun, moon, Pluto, and Mars squaring off in what astrologers call a cardinal cross position, considered very difficult. A cardinal cross brings two 180-degree oppositions and four 90-degree "square" aspects. Yet planets in this formation practically force you to make a decision and help you turn a corner.

All the heavenly bodies involved in this cross pattern will be in cardinal signs, which is why it is called a cardinal cross. These signs are considered very powerful and energetic - Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn. It seems that a decision will be necessary, but I worry that you may feel coerced to accept a position you really don't like. Should this be true, seek your lawyer's advice, for having someone you trust in your corner will be comforting and enlightening. This would be no time to save on those legal fees. Make the call! This full moon on March 21 may also bring the need for a quick trip, perhaps a face-to-face to talk about the agreement. Money seems to be the topic on the agenda, but as said, even though you will be lucky with money this month, at the time of this full moon, there appears to be friction. Oddly, a full moon in Libra is really a good placement for Leo, so this suggests that despite the tensions, you will have an opportunity to find a good solution, one that would benefit you. I feel if you let things go to the end of the month, March 27 or 28, you will find many ways to reword things and get to a win-win situation. It's amazing how creative and inspired one can become when one is not rushed! This full moon will be especially helpful if you were born on or near July 23. Somehow you will find your way out! This full moon may bring a family situation to your attention or one involving your neighbor or neighborhood. If this full moon - which will look for weak links - works out to put your mind squarely on a family member, it would your sister, brother, or a cousin. The tension that I talked about earlier would still be there, but it may assert itself differently. For example, you may disagree with your brother or neighbor, or else be worried about either person's welfare. This won't be a problem that lingers - full moons make us make decisions almost instantly. Romantically, your best period will be when Venus moves through your 7th house of commitment, bringing a similar "full moon effect" - in other words, a tender intensity - to a close relationship. This lovely phase will span from the start of the month until March 10. If you've had a bumpy relationship lately, use this time to reconnect, and to plan at least one special night out.
