Your career was showing positive, exciting signs of growth from late September through mid-November, and at that time you probably enjoyed the progress you made. Clearly you were getting closer to knowing what you wanted to achieve, and talks that developed showed promise. However, suddenly, in mid-November, all the good progress you had made stopped dead.

Things may have slowed down due to the intervening winter holidays, or because you changed your mind about the career direction you wanted to take. Or maybe a professional opportunity that had looked so intriguing at first glance began to look less so on closer inspection. No matter what the reason your pace slowed, you've not quite been able to get your mojo back and that had to be frustrating. Now you will, and the change will be heartening.

March brings back the excitement, dear Libra. Watch the pace pick up in your career once Mars moves into Cancer on March 4. The reason you experienced lackluster progress lately is that on November 15 Mars, then in your house of career success, went retrograde and stayed that way until January 30. By late January, however, Mars had slipped out of that house and into another house that was useful to you for career matters. You have had to be patient while Mars resumed forward speed and journeyed back to Cancer, the sign that lights your 10th house of honors, awards, and achievement.

On March 4, after what must seem like an interminable amount of time, Mars will have returned to that house, the same place it was when it shut down last November - in Cancer - and the place you need it to be. Now, in March, you can pick up the threads of the discussions you had back in October and November and restart your career in a big, more stable way. This time there's no danger that things will suddenly derail, which has to be an encouraging thought.

Indeed Mars has pledged his full support from March 4 through May 9, and that will be more than enough time for you to craft a career victory. It is imperative that you begin to focus hard on getting a better position now, if you want one, for rarely will you have all conditions as right as they are now. Still, don't expect March to be an easy month - you will have to have patience as you again build your momentum - but you have time to do so, in April and May.

After May 9, you will have another bright career aspect arriving at the new moon on July 2. All new moons are known to bring two weeks of opportunity, so all the groundwork you lay in March through early May, while Mars tours Cancer, seems likely to click into place by early July. What you do in the first half of July will affect you for the following twelve months. It is that important!

OK, let's go back to our main discussion about your prospects for March, dear Libra.

As said, while things will be really encouraging for career matters, you can't rush things. April will be better, and May even more so. At least the road won't be strewn with boulders as they have in the past. Keep working at a steady pace toward your goals, but don't become impulsive or impatient.

Aside from opportunities that will lead you to mounting career success, a trend that is just starting now, you will have a lot going on in the office on your present job this month.

At your present job, the new moon on March 7 will bring plenty of unexpected developments in the two weeks that follow. Creative, stimulating short and long assignments will come your way, each one more exciting than the last. Those projects may come to you as freelance assignments, moonlighting opportunities to do on weekends, as major projects your boss wants you to try your hand at, or if you are self-employed, as new business. Much to your surprise, you may find one or two projects have "legs" that can take you in new directions.

If you are self-employed, business should be brisk, and you may even find that you are having problems handling it all! You may need to hire more people or set up new procedures. You should be stimulated by what you do. While you may still want to get that big promotion or change positions eventually this year, at least you will be absorbed by all that happens in your department now. It won't be dull, for sure!

The pace of your work projects may be a little AC-DC in March, like alternating current. One minute you'll have too much to do, the next too little. When Uranus is involved, that happens. You may want to work all night, straight through, and then take a few days off.

While this new moon will stimulate your thinking, this new moon won't be in a position to help you rise to a new level in your profession. That will be the job for Mars to accomplish, so as I said earlier, don't rush. Career moves made on a new moon in the 6th house (which is what is happening now on March 7) almost always are lateral moves.

Still, this new moon on March 7 can help you in a different way - it can bring the right projects that will allow you to demonstrate expertise in various areas. Meanwhile, Mars will see to it that you come to the attention of VIPs by raising your profile in the industry.

Now, coincidentally - and I realize this can seem a little confusing - on the very same day as the new moon, March 7, you will have one difficult aspect, Mars opposition Pluto. You may notice on this day that the needs of your boss will conflict with those of your family or vice versa, and you will feel pressured on both fronts. Tension to meet deadlines and cater to all that is happening at home will be high, but thankfully will only last for a day or two.

Going back to your career progress, I feel you won't get a good picture of what's going on in your career until July. This month, however, you will get clues of what's happening at the important full moon in Libra on March 21. It won't just be your career that comes into focus at the full moon, but possibly other things as well, such as pertaining to an important relationship or living situation.

This full moon will be particularly powerful if you were born on or within five days of September 23.

March 21, plus or minus four days, won't exactly be easy, as that full moon forms almost an exact cardinal cross in the heavens - including the Sun in Aries, moon in Libra, Mars in Cancer, and Pluto in Capricorn, all cardinal signs, and each moving at difficult angle to each other. Cardinal signs are highly energetic, especially when they arrive at one and zero degrees of a cardinal sign, as three out of the four will be. (The fourth element in this cross pattern, Mars in Cancer, will be close to that critical degree, at six degrees).

Configurations like this can present a highly emotional situation, perhaps accompanied by frustrating conditions and a corresponding pressing need to make a decision. Watch for this at the full moon March 21. It looks like certain people whose cooperation you require will be unwilling to give an inch.

Still, square formations in the heavens help us face situations head on. They also light our passions, make us see things clearly, and help us move forward, if only because there is no choice but to do so. Oddly, despite all the tension, the result can be positively transformative. Stay cheerful, Libra - you can prevail if you keep your wits about you.

As you see, while this time of the month may be a bit tense, it will help you finally let go of a difficult situation, choose a direction, and zoom forward. Everything will happen quickly, and for that you should be grateful. You won't be able to analyze every bit of detail as you are sometimes prone to do, but rather, you will need to rely on your instinct, which will be very sharp.

Now let's turn to health, fitness, and the approaching swimsuit season. If you feel you could use a little more exercise to get back in shape, the new moon on March 7 will be one of your best times of the year to begin. Try something like an unusual, playful approach to fitness - something different. Later in the month, watch for interesting romantic communications to come up on Thursday, March 27. Mercury is the planet of news and on that day will reach out to Uranus AND to Jupiter. Your cell phone may contain a heart-skipping text message. Last month Mercury was in retrograde, but this month will be moving at strong, swift speed, so proceed. If Cupid strikes, respond!

The month ends on an excitingly positive note - March 28. In fact, if anything goes wrong earlier in the month, you can pretty much count on really good news to come your way at month's end. News about real estate and/or your work projects should be sensational. If you are moving into a new house on this day, you will likely really enjoy your new setting.

Also on March 28, Venus will align with Uranus, bringing on a scintillating glow. You should be happy on this day, and at this pint you will see your optimism rise. You will have faced a few hard situations and found that yes, you can do that and still be left standing. Many of the month's frustrations should melt away.
