As December begins, this partner will have the upper hand. Something seems to be brewing between you that appears to be distressing you, and at first, it will only be something you'll feel very subtly and not be able to put your finger on precisely.

As you get closer to the full moon in Gemini, December 12, however, you will know what it is, and it will make you quite tense. News will begin to show up as early as Wednesday, December 10, when Uranus and the Sun will be at sharp odds. Sometimes, it's the person who is at his or her desk, ready to serve, who gets the business! The client's usual sources will be on holiday but if you are home, you may be able to pick up a VERY lucrative new client! Seems so!

Your focus won't be paycheck income but rather a large one-time bundle of cash that may represent a year-end bonus, prize, inheritance, commission check, or payment from an insurance company, as a few examples. Or, the money that arrives may represent a flat cash settlement.

The amount may be so large that you would want to develop a strategy to manage it - certainly a problem we'd all like to have! You won't see this type of situation repeated for another eleven years so while you have it, enjoy it!

OK, I will be honest. The full moon in Gemini on December 12 won't be your favorite moment of the month. This moon will be shouting at Mars, Uranus, Saturn, and the Sun, and that's a heavy-duty bunch to stir up.

Because this new moon is falling in Gemini, it means you need to protect your health, teeth, and bones and that of relatives of advanced age who may be Gemini, too. Something urgent appears to be about to culminate, but it will be nearly impossible to prepare, for Uranus is involved. Uranus always brings something out of the blue that we had never anticipated - it could be weird, rarely heard of, or odd.

If you checked your horoscope last month, you may have noted I did discuss this December 12 full moon in my November forecast, something I don't ordinarily do. I did so to dissuade you from bringing up any important matters with a romantic partner, boss, or client at midmonth, for it's sure to trigger a meltdown, even if a topic arises very gently and innocently.

I would say you would do best by hiding under your desk or crawling under the covers at home and refusing to come out. The problem is, all full moons are operative plus or minus three days or so, and that's a whole week to have to hole up! Do all your holiday shopping early in the month, and if you decorate your apartment or house, do so during December's first weekend. The same goes for shipping packages. You won't have any time to spare near the full moon period December 10-15. You will want to have a completely empty schedule, leaving you time to deal with whatever comes up.

Mutable signs will have the toughest time with this full moon: Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, and Pisces, but only those born near the middle of the month. For example, Gemini born in May will not likely feel this full moon much, but those born within three days of June 11 would be more likely to do so.

Partners seem to be in a nervous, edgy mood and easily provoked. If your partner (romantic or business partner) seems out of sorts at midmonth, tiptoeing away may be the best approach. Asking what is wrong will only fan the fire, and since most people of all signs will be walking on glass by midmonth, the last thing you want to do is lift the lid on whatever is troubling your partner. Let things stew. If your partner wants to tell you something, believe me, you will find out. In that case, listen, of course, but be as objective as you can be. It will be hard not to be emotional. Fortunately you tend to approach everything with intellectual curiosity, so in this case, ask clarifying questions, but don't get swallowed up in the vortex of emotion around you.

The month ends on a very strong and positive financial note. If you are awaiting word from an insurance company about a major claim or settlement, it appears you will hear in the last week of December. Alternatively, the money you see could come as a bonus, commission, advance, financial aid for college, new mortgage or refinancing plan, or as a settlement in the division of property in a divorce or end of a business. If you need a line of credit from the bank, or an auto / home improvement loan, apply the first few days of December and you'll hear by month's end. If an inheritance has been held up in the courts, it could be decided just after the new moon, December 27.

If none of these areas seem to fit your life, then you might want to buy a few charity raffle tickets or lotto tickets. Make sure the winner is announced on December 28, 29, or 31. Don't buy too many! I see money coming to you one way or another, and I don't want to send you into the poorhouse buying lotto tickets when your source of money will come from somewhere else!

Additionally, a small percent of Gemini will opt for medical or dental surgery in the last ten days of December, due to the packed eighth house of planets. With Jupiter standing there as a major protector, you have excellent prospects for success.

December 31 will be one of your best days of the month, a true gem, for Mercury, your ruler, will combine forces with fortunate Jupiter. Both will meet in a financial sector, so it's clear money will find a way to your door at month's end. As runner up day, I also love the surprise you receive on December 24, thanks to the interplay of Mercury and Uranus.

January will begin a whole new positive trend when lucky Jupiter moves into fellow air sign Aquarius, so welcome 2009 with giddy excitement, dear Gemini. You have EVERY reason to be excited.
