It's birthday time, and you're feeling especially positive about life, and with good reason! With Mars still tearing through Scorpio at a rapid, strong orbit, you are in your element and feeling your oats. You've got an aura of authority that is commanding and confident - and sexy, too!

Mars will help you get your way until November 16, so you'll need to get busy during November's first half to catch this lovely energy. Draw up plans, present them, and sit down with clients and other influential people. If ever you were to get an affirmative answer, it will be this month in the first two weeks.

The new moon that appeared on October 28 was a superb one, and one of the friendliest of the year. This new moon was the green light to begin to launch big projects and to meet with others to get support. Rarely have you seen this level of cosmic support! If your birthday falls on October 28 or within five days of this date, you will be doubly fortunate, for your whole year will be filled with lots of news and fresh starts. 2009 won't be any old year, but one you will likely remember for all the things you set in motion.

Your love life has had more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, and although this month may bring more of the same, you also may get a number of truly encouraging signs that finally your love life is due to change and head in the right direction.

Neptune RULES your house of true love and Uranus is currently traveling IN this same sector. This means that both planets have a large bearing on how your love life will proceed. The problem has been that both Neptune and Uranus have been in lethargic retrograde mode for months, moving backward for a very long time.

If you are single and frustrated with your love life, you know why! You probably felt like you were walking through glue. It was hard to see any progress, even if you tried hard to fix things. If you are in an established relationship, you may have gone 'round and 'round on certain issues, but not really ending up where you wanted things to go. You may have felt that your relationship was either stagnating or worse - that there was no hope you'd ever come to any sort of firm agreement on anything. Be of good cheer, dear Scorpio - now you will! Neptune turns direct on November 3 and Uranus turns direct on November 27, so this is all good news for you, and a signal you should try, try, try again.

The full moon, November 13, could bring a joyous moment when an engagement or "coming together" between two souls proves magical. Your ability to communicate what's in your heart will come easily, and those feelings will be tenderly returned. A discussion about future children could also come up or care for a child you have now. If you aren't serious about anyone just yet, you can use the energies of this full moon to form business associations too, with equally fine results.

This full moon will be a very big, important moment in your time line, doubly so if you were born on or within five days of November 13. If this is the time of the month when you were born, you will find that this year brings a culmination of much of what you have been working on. Next year, after this birthday year is done, your life will be filled with many fresh starts, for you will have accomplished so much this year.

When it comes to your career, you will do so well this month you may want to pinch yourself to be sure you aren't dreaming. Watch November 10, for on that day you'll hit a stroke of luck - quite unexpectedly. Watch for a gate to suddenly swing open for you, one that has always been very firmly padlocked shut! This would be a superb day to schedule key meetings, for you'd likely reach accord or get approvals. When you're hot, you're hot, and this day, you are that and more!

You will enter into a high spending period from November 16 onward, but it could be for things you expected to buy - for example, holiday gifts or a tuition payment you know is coming up.

Be careful about all your spending however, because I see a very difficult full moon in your financial house of credit and loans coming up next month on December 12, plus or minus three days. At that time, I feel you will have to write a large check, and it may be quite a bit larger than you ever expected. The way to deal with this is to spread out purchases this month. Of course, holiday gifts would have to be purchased now, but if there is something else you don't absolutely need for yourself, see if you can put off buying it until December.

These days, everyone needs to find ways to make more money. Here's your moment to speak up for a raise or to negotiate for a new job: at the new moon November 27 and two weeks that follow it. That new moon couldn't be better. So while it seems you will have high costs this month, you can find a way to bring in more cash, but you will have to speak up. The new moon of November 27 is your best of the year, so do make an initiation, even if you are a bit hesitant about doing so. The time to get more income is at hand, dear Scorpio.

Jupiter rules your house of earned income, and will be in perfect angle to Saturn in late November, indicating that you CAN find ways to batten down the hatches and find a way to come out of the red and into the black side of the ledger. These two planets will make an exact aspect on November 21, a great day for financial talks and presentations. However, your big moment will come after the new moon, one week later, November 27, because that's what new moons do - they open a path. Speak up at month's end for a better salary and you will be glad you did.

Travel to a nearby location is indicated too this month, and it sure would be fun. See if you can take a short weekend trip over the November 29-30 weekend (even extending your short trip into Monday, December 1). With Venus kissing Jupiter, you could not have stars twinkling more brightly for you.

One other thing is happening this month, something that is due to have a monumentally positive effect on your future. Pluto, your ruler, is about to move into Capricorn on November 25, a very supportive place for you. Pluto has never been in Capricorn during your lifetime, as Pluto takes 246 years to circle the Sun. Once in your third house, Pluto will not leave for another 15 years!

Pluto is known to be the planet that digs deep and helps us plumb our depths. Once in your third house of the mind, you are likely to see your concentration and focus sharpen considerably in the coming years. Your ability to do thorough, deep, and exacting research will be awesome. An example would be doing award winning investigating reporting, say, like Woodward and Bernstein did for Watergate, or the kind of digging a prosecutor would do in preparation for a very big and complicated court case.

When it comes to coming up with hidden information you will be unmatched, and your skill at this will only improve impressively in the years ahead. If you hope to write a book about a part of life that interests you, you will have all the staying power you need to do a very comprehensive study and contribute a lot of new information to the field. It's something to think about, isn't it, dear Scorpio. I will be talking more about this important development in weeks, months, and years to come, but for now, think about how you can use Pluto's new home in your chart to your benefit. This is all so exciting, isn't it, dear Scorpio?

Something else is going on that I didn't mention earlier, but will now. Saturn and Uranus will precisely oppose one another on November 4, starting a dialog that will continue in 2009 and 2010 as well. The future oppositions include February 5, 2009; September 15, 2009; April 26, 2010; July 26, 2010; and December 5, 2010. This suggests you will be able to end unproductive patterns in the way you've chosen romantic partners (that is, if you have had difficulty in the past.)

If you are in love and planning to get engaged for the holidays, you or your partner will likely to pop the question on the full moon November 13, plus or minus four days. It would be a fantastic time of the month for promising your love to each other.

You can use this full moon November 13 for other purposes too - with a grand triangle of planets supporting your moves, you can move ahead with an important business alliance, collaboration, or joint venture. It would likely be ready for your signature, and because Mercury is no longer retrograde as it was in October, you can sign your name, confident this would be a great time to do so.

Your spending will increase once Mars, your secondary ruler, visits Sagittarius from November 16 to December 26. Be careful because next month's full moon, December 12 will not be a friendly one for anyone, and for you, it will bring to culmination some sort of matter involving credit or loans. You may find yourself in a jam because that full moon will bring unexpected developments. If you can space out expenditures that are optional, do so. I am so sorry to have to report this news, for I understand how expensive the holidays are for everyone and nobody likes to feel constrained by budgets at this time of the year. I truly sympathize and even wondered if I should tell you this month.

Fortunately, this month, the new moon that will come by earlier, on November 27, will be a blessing because the two weeks that follow will offer you your very best opportunity of all of 2008 to get a raise or a better salary for a new job. It is unlikely that you will get a raise without asking for it, so gather up your courage and do! You deserve more, dear Scorpio, and I feel your timing will be excellent. While you have such a good chance of getting it, strike while the iron is hot!

Let's hope it's the latter, for if not, things will come to a culmination on the full moon November 13, when the piper will need to be paid. This particular piper may be your credit card company, or it may be the tuition you need to send to your college. It might be money for a new house you're buying, or an outlay for a computer. For whatever reason, you appear to be writing a large check at mid-month.

The good news is that you won't just have outgo, but a solid chance to increase your income, too. The new moon that appeared at the end of October will be just cranking up its energy. Late last month it appeared in your house of salary, a wonderful, once-a-year event, so you can catch its wave if you act quickly.

Ask for a raise or negotiate for higher salary for a new job in November's first week, for after that energy will fade. You may be surprised at the ease in which you can get the amount you want approved, for early November will be your best time of the year to open talks. You may have to continue these talks for weeks or even months ahead, but what will matter most is that you begin talks now, as early in November as possible.

You'll be encouraged by events that take place near November 14 -16, when it will be clear your hard work is being acknowledged by all the right people. News of a generous financial payment could strike like lightning, and when it does, you'll jump for joy.

At nearly the same time of the month, from November 17 on, your monster expenses will drop noticeably, thanks to the impending move of Mars to Sagittarius. Mars will not inflame those credit card balances any longer, so that will help, too. Whew! That IS good news.

Romantically, the move of Neptune to direct speed on November 2 bodes so very well for your love life. If you've been unable to move forward because of a past disappointment, feelings of resentment over a recent incident, or due to a broken love affair, now you have hope to be able to fix things up again or move on. Neptune's speedier orbit will help you center yourself and help you overcome those obstacles. Watch the days that surround November 2 for a sure sign of which way to go.

November 3 brings a rocky day for love, but don't take this as a bad sign - better days are due.

Single or attached, on November 12, when Venus conjoins Pluto, you'll come across as powerful, strong, intense, and passionately sexy. No one would be able to resist you!

Another planet associated with your fifth house, Uranus, has also been retrograde for months, so your relationship my not have been going along in the way you had hoped. Thankfully, Uranus goes direct on November 27, so in other ways, better days are due. Both Uranus and Neptune are on your side now, so you should see dramatic difference in your romantic relationship in months ahead (particularly in late January and February).

My very favorite days for romance for you will be November 2, 5, 28, 29, and best of all, November 30-December 1. There are other days, so check those in my "dates to watch" list at the bottom of your forecast.

Let's talk about November 30-December 1 for a moment because it's due to be SUCH a wonderful day for you. At that time, Venus, your ruling planet (hence, a planet that means more to you than most of the other signs), will make its annual conjunction to Jupiter, planet of good fortune. This is great news! These two planets will meet in your house of home, making your home the happiest place for you to be at the time. Romantically, it could not be better, so you might want to invite a special someone over for a dinner you cook up. Your happiest place on these days would certainly be home.

Next month it appears you will be traveling quite a bit, but if you have a trip scheduled for the time near the full moon, December 12, it appears there may be delays. Or, if you plan to see a client at a distant point, or will be on the phone and e-mail a lot with a client based at a great distance from you, unexpected difficulties may come up out of the blue.

I am not happy with the angry full moon of December 12 next month (add plus or minus of three days), and I am adding a note about it to all signs so that everyone has time to get ready. I would like you to clear your calendar as much as you can. You will not be the subject of this full moon - the mutable signs of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, and Pisces will be - so you may be cast in the role of helper to others at this time.

Mars, Uranus, Saturn, and the Sun will be at a very tight, difficult grand mutable cross, bringing to a head a matter that has been simmering for a long time. If you have a court case pending, you may hear back at this full moon, or it may have something to do with an academic test or admission. Or, as I mentioned previously, this could have to do with a client based at a distance, or a trip you are taking that seems to bring up too many obstacles to count.

This December 12 full moon is in Gemini, a sign that blends well with your Libra Sun, so you may be able to negotiate yourself out of a tight spot should you find yourself in one (and I am not saying you will, only that you might). Even so, your emotions will be stirred up and you will be very distracted over the ensuing weekend (December 13-14) by whatever news reaches you.

I am so sorry to have to report this, especially in a month known to be so joyous and peaceful. Thankfully this full moon will occur two weeks before Christmas and Hanukkah, so that could be enough time to allow everyone, of every sign, to regroup and still have a happy holiday. Time will be tighter than you suppose this month, however, and you may find yourself running out of time to get things done.

The best way to deal with this full moon in mid-December is to get everything you had planned to do in December done in November. You will need a light schedule in mid-December to respond to things quickly, and if you are too overloaded with things to do next month, you will feel very squeezed and tense. If we all prepare, there will be no reason to feel that way.

Do your holiday shopping, wrapping, and shipping this month, while the planets are shining so brightly. Even if nothing happens to your schedule, if you get things done early, you will have a better holiday month, moving through the holidays with ease. Also, you won't have to pay high last-minute express shipping costs if you plan ahead, and that will leave you more cash to spend on family and friends. All things considered, this is the way to go.

Pluto will move into your home and family sector for the next 15 years on November 26, a monumental development. Pluto has not been in Capricorn (the sign that rules your solar home sector) since the time of the American Revolution! While in this house, Pluto will stir up many deeply held feelings you've been holding on to about your childhood or family life. While Pluto stirs things up in coming years, it may not always be easy to see new truths, but it will be necessary for you to see them, for you will receive greater clarity, and possibly even an "Aha!" moment. This is a very long trend, and Pluto works gradually, not suddenly. It's all for good, dear Libra.

Life certainly hasn't been easy for you lately, and certainly not during September or October, but happily, November brings on a new, refreshing, breezy influence and many reasons to travel. Enjoying a new setting, even for a short time, will do the trick to restore the bounce in your step and the glint in your eye.

If you skip town leave early in the month, you will most likely visit family a short distance away.

If you pack your suitcase at the full moon, November 13, plus or minus three days, your magic carpet will carry you over a greater distance. A trip taken near that full moon, November 13, looks like it may be a fantasy-filled vacation, where cell phones don't work and where you'll share quality time together. Go for it, dear Virgo. With Mercury in perfect angle to Uranus, whatever comes up at mid-month will be surprisingly positive - with events you'd never expect, only BETTER!

In the early part of November, you may be asked to sign a contract or other important document. Mercury is no longer retrograde (as it was in October), so you are free to do so. November 10 brings your first important date, when the Sun and Jupiter, planet of good fortune, will cooperate flawlessly. Saturn will get into the act too, and give you the comforting gift of longevity.

If the agreement represents a collaboration or partnership, you'd be wise to wait until Uranus goes full speed ahead before you sign, so wait until just after November 27 for best results. Uranus has been retrograde since June 26.

All activities that have to do with communication will shine during the first days of November. The first ten days of the month would be an ideal time to launch a website or unveil an upgrade. It's a great time to speak to groups, launch an advertising or publicity campaign, or have a designer create a logo for your business.

Now that Mercury is no longer retrograde as it was in October, November or December will be an ideal time to buy a computer. (Mercury rules moving parts, so electronics are not the items you want to buy when Mercury is retrograde. Mercury rules buying and selling of all kinds too, so it really isn't a time when you'd likely get the best value for your money.)

It may help to know that Mercury will go retrograde again from January 11-February 1, 2009, so I will caution you NOT to buy a computer in January - not during ANY of the days in January. We all feel the affects of Mercury's static and slowdowns at least ten days before its actual turn to retrograde, so you would do best to hold off buying your computer in January. For most of us, a computer is a big purchase, so you want to do so at the right time!

Mercury will go direct on February 1, 2009, but I would like you to leave a few days beyond that date, say, until February 4 before you shop. So you have a choice - to purchase your computer any time from now through the end of December, or wait until after February 4. I always find buying a computer a big day! It's like bringing a baby home from the hospital - you feed it lots of new software and it learns to talk to you! I always have had a really close, warm relationship with my computers and sometimes I even talk to my little guys. I have five Macs here because we need several computers, but I am always really excited when it's time to buy a new one! Oh, yes, that's always a big day!

While we are on the subject of looking ahead, I have to warn you about a particularly angry full moon that will come up next month, just prior to the holidays, December 12. This full moon will fall in Gemini and light your house of career, but there are problems. This full moon will be in hard angle to Mars, Uranus, Saturn, and the Sun. That is a lot of planetary activity, and I will, of course, talk about it next month. It will bring a conclusion to something having to do with your career. It could be someone is leaving, and it causes shock waves throughout the company.

The reason I am talking about this full moon now is that you know that your attention will be pulled in another direction on that Friday, and your emotions will be stirred up through the weekend, December 13-14. That's a popular weekend to shop, ship, and decorate the house, but I feel whatever comes up this weekend will cause those holiday activities to slide. If you have children depending on you to talk to Santa about getting certain presents for them, you may find it hard to get through to Santa, if you catch my meaning. This is why I ask you to shop in November, when you have everything going for you, and finish up your shopping, wrapping, and shipping no later than December 9. If you put up a Christmas tree, I would like you to have it up by December 9 if possible, too.

After the full moon arrives December 12 plus or minus three days, you will be preoccupied, and by the time you regain your balance it will be December 20 or so, which is really late! Why pay high shipping costs for packages you couldn't ship earlier? Get ready for the holiday in November, and you will be SO glad you did. This year the stores will have plenty of sales, so you will not miss out on those. Also, stores will have lower inventory than usual, so you won't be disappointed with your selection in November.

All the mutable signs will see certain unexpected developments come up at this full moon. Mutable signs include Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, and Sagittarius. If you were born on September 13 plus or minus five days, you will feel this full moon strongest.

Do I take my own advice? Yes! I am putting my Christmas tree up on December 6, and I have never done so that so early! I have a warm New York City apartment and that is why I usually wait until December 14 to put it up. I will keep the heat turned down very low this year to keep the tree fresh. I don't mind wearing heavy sweaters if it means a prettier Christmas! I have also made my list and checked it twice for shopping. Once you make your list, you are ready to go!

Going back to November, if you are writing down the dates I am giving you (a good idea) I would like to say something else about a date I mentioned earlier, November 27. If you recall, that's the date Uranus will go direct, allowing you to interact more smoothly with a partner. Uranus has been retrograde for five months, so the change should be noticeable.

November 27 will also be the date of the new moon in your home and family sector, and on that day, a crowd of planets will brilliantly light this area too, just in time for you to spiff things up for the holidays. You may be getting ready to entertain, or you may want to make some quick changes in your space to make it more comfortable for those who live with you. It's a good time to pick up a new piece of furniture or to make repairs, or to simply clean out closets to make room for the new things that may arrive next month as gifts.

Mars will enter this same home-and-property area of your chart from November 16 to December 27, so you can get A LOT of things done in your home and make it look like it's ready for a photo in your favorite decorating magazine. Mars won't be back until October 2010, so while you have this energetic planet to help you, go to it!

If you've been trying hard to sell property or buy a house / condo that you have your heart set on, you will get a solid opportunity to do so at this time, too. Your luck will extend from mid-November into December, but the energy of this trend will be strongest and most fortunate for you from November 27 to December 9. Make your deal now through December, or table the decision for six months from now.

Romantically you may be looking at a complete re-examination of your relationship. Saturn and Uranus will move into direct opposition on November 4, a rare aspect. This has not occurred since 1965 to 1968. This time, Saturn and Uranus will have a toe-to-toe 180-degree opposition several times in coming months, to occur twice in 2009 (February 5 and September 15).

After that, in 2010, Saturn and Uranus will oppose one another exactly three times, on April 26, July 26, and December 5, 2010.

As you see, this is the first of a series. This usually indicates the opening of a dialog that you may have with your partner, or if you feel you've been in a very unhappy relationship for years, then you may come to the point where you realize that things won't ever get better and finally find the courage to leave.
