Since last autumn, you've been really busy with a major new professional commitment, thanks to the rare, once-in-29-year visit of Saturn in your house of career success. Saturn entered this house September 2, 2007, and will remain in this part of your chart until October 29, 2009. It has been six months since Saturn first arrived, so by now you no doubt are handling a great deal of responsibility and learning new things every day.

Saturn creates this kind of situation and along with it a need to follow a very straight and narrow road. During all of last year you had Jupiter in Sagittarius, so you were busy starting a whole new beneficial cycle. You may not have realized how important a phase you were in, because you were too busy "doing" to have the time to stop and think about it. The new relationships you started as well as the work you did in 2007 will begin to bear fruit shortly, in 2008.

Jupiter will remain in your 2nd house of earned income and possessions until January 5, 2009, the house of reward. While you may be working hard now, with Saturn in detailed Virgo in hard angle to your Sun, if you keep your focus, you will enjoy handsome rewards later. Saturn is now in perfect angle to Pluto, a rather powerful combination, for it almost assures long-term success.

Keep in mind that gains you make during a Jupiter cycle can be with you indefinitely. While you will lose Jupiter's protection and good fortune in regard to financial matters in January 2009, as long as you establish yourself on a new level sometime between now and then, you will be sitting pretty. In future years it is likely you will continue to increase your income, but the difference is that this year you will make a huge, quantum leap upwards, so the percentage of gain of 2008 would be hard to match. Having said this, you must always read your forecasts for your rising sign, too. If you know your rising sign, you can find out what your outlook is for finances for that sign. You may have a tough day coming directly on March 7, a day when someone may come off as very bossy and create a great deal of tension over a joint financial matter. This is the same day as the new moon, but it won't be the new moon in your 4th house that gives you this problem. It will stem from another aspect, Mars opposed to Pluto that coincidentally falls on the very same day.

If someone tries to strong-arm you into accepting a position that every bone in your body wants to resist, you may have to confront this bossy person directly and speak your mind. It's hard to say exactly how you will respond to this because so much will depend on the type of relationship you have with this person, your history together, and how you see your future together shaping up. Even in a worst-case scenario, say, if this person is a business associate whose support you desperately need, you certainly don't need to get locked into a bad deal. In that case, stick up for yourself but also be prepared to suggest alternative ways of handling the matter. With all the emphasis on money and home, property, and family matters - and a few stressful days that will inevitably come up as you try to respond to unexpected developments - you will need a fabulous night out to look forward to a little later in the month. Guess what? You've got it! A big social event is due on the full moon March 21 where you will be surrounded by many friendly faces. This full moon will be in Libra, so it's likely that the event will be hip and stylish, so you'll be pleased to be included. The event will be very beautifully done, with fine food, wines, flowers, and music to enjoy. This would be an event you would not want to miss! It might be a dress up affair, for I see that you may be a bit concerned about the amount of money you will need to spend to participate in this event.

Another way this full moon, March 21 (plus or minus four days), may work out is that you may give a party on this day and be a little concerned about money because you are the host! It's still a good idea. It you aren't going to a wedding, fundraiser, or other special evening out on March 21, plus or minus three days, you may be going to an amusement park or luxury resort that's also known to be expensive. Still, it will be fun! If you were born on November 23, or within four days of this date, you will feel the effects of this full moon most. Still, EVERY Sagittarius should have something special to enjoy from this full moon. As you get to the last week of the month, there will be two outstanding days to enjoy. Thursday, March 27, should bring sensational news about your career, for Mercury, the planet that rules your solar 10th house, will receive visits from Jupiter (good fortune) and Uranus (surprise). This new moon on March 7 will be your best of the year to make plans. There will be no other moment in 2008 will match the excellent energy of March.
