Last month was a difficult month because Mercury was retrograde and that probably caused you many delays, postponements, and mix-ups. On November 1, Mercury will go direct, thank goodness, but because Mercury always acts the wildest on the start and end dates of its retrograde, it would be best to wait until November 4 to resume normal activities. The closer you act to November 1, the more likely you will run into problems. You can move or do things you've planned, but I would recommend not signing documents until on or after November 4.

The weekend of November 4 - 5 will be a good week to travel, as the Sun and Mars, now in your short distance travel sector, will be beautifully angled.

Speaking of being on the road, ever since Mars moved into your third house of travel at the end of September, you may have found yourself going to nearby cities much more often. Mars will retrograde, however, from November 15 to January 30, a time when you will not find those trips as easy to set up or to experience. For example, you may find your train or plane is to be delayed during Mars retrograde, causing you to spend a lot of time in waiting rooms. Or, it may be that those you need to see in the town you are visiting won't be there when you need them to be.

You might say, "Wait, this sounds like Mercury retrograde!" It's not, because Mars rules action and Mercury rules communication, but Mars will be in the third house, the area that Mercury naturally rules. That's why you may say to yourself, "This does feel a little like Mercury retrograde." Don't worry though - the effect won't be as extreme. In business, it's not wise to sign contacts with a weakened Mars, for the energy surrounding the endeavor won't be as strong as it should be.

You appear to be visiting nearby towns for pleasure this month, most likely to see friends or primarily your sister or brother. Of course, those trips may be for any reason.

A partnership will be a big focus too, and that theme will emerge just after the new moon, November 9. This new moon will be simply glorious - friendly to Mars (action), now in your home sector, and to Uranus (surprise). This means that any travel you do should be very positive now and in weeks to come! This would also be an ideal time to start an advertising or self-promotion campaign.

This new moon would also mark the very best time to buy electronic equipment, such as a flat screen TV, a computer, an iPod, or iPhone. You may also successfully buy a car. Do so over the weekend of November 10 - 11.

Taurus who were born on or within five days of May 7 will be the ones who can use this new moon's energy to the greatest advantage. The new moon in your partnership sector will occur late in the day on November 9 (6:03 PM EST, New York time), making November 10 a far better date. However, this is a Saturday, so you may need to wait until Monday, November 12.

A new moon will always set up a big blast of energy that will set the month's theme that will cover the two weeks to come.

If you are a student of astrology, realize that you can't choose just any date on the calendar that appeals to you without also looking back to the new moon that fell just prior to the date you want to use. Ok, now let's turn to your career, which should show some exceptionally happy developments this month. I am so happy to have this news for you! Venus, your guardian planet, will spend a lot of time in your daily work sector (your sixth house), suggesting a lovely work environment, with plum assignments soon to come your way. Back to November: The same weekend you and I have been discussing, November 24, will bring a reason to think about money, for the full moon will fall in Gemini in your sector of personal finances (second house). You may need to pay a bill then (or more specifically two bills, as the moon is in the sign of twins) but if so, it appears you will have the money to pay it because a number of checks will come in to you then, too.

On November 26, a bouquet of an aspect, Venus in loving angle to Neptune, will ensure that your creative abilities are visible to at least one highly influential person. You'll get fine critical reviews and possibly a new assignment to come soon.

Romantically, those readers who are in love with a steady partner will have the edge this month. You may decide to get engaged for the coming holidays, but if so, the proposal or decision to marry is most likely to happen this month (not next month), possibly as soon as over the weekend of November 10 - 11.
