Life certainly hasn't been easy for you lately, and certainly not during September or October, but happily, November brings on a new, refreshing, breezy influence and many reasons to travel. Enjoying a new setting, even for a short time, will do the trick to restore the bounce in your step and the glint in your eye.

If you skip town leave early in the month, you will most likely visit family a short distance away.

If you pack your suitcase at the full moon, November 13, plus or minus three days, your magic carpet will carry you over a greater distance. A trip taken near that full moon, November 13, looks like it may be a fantasy-filled vacation, where cell phones don't work and where you'll share quality time together. Go for it, dear Virgo. With Mercury in perfect angle to Uranus, whatever comes up at mid-month will be surprisingly positive - with events you'd never expect, only BETTER!

In the early part of November, you may be asked to sign a contract or other important document. Mercury is no longer retrograde (as it was in October), so you are free to do so. November 10 brings your first important date, when the Sun and Jupiter, planet of good fortune, will cooperate flawlessly. Saturn will get into the act too, and give you the comforting gift of longevity.

If the agreement represents a collaboration or partnership, you'd be wise to wait until Uranus goes full speed ahead before you sign, so wait until just after November 27 for best results. Uranus has been retrograde since June 26.

All activities that have to do with communication will shine during the first days of November. The first ten days of the month would be an ideal time to launch a website or unveil an upgrade. It's a great time to speak to groups, launch an advertising or publicity campaign, or have a designer create a logo for your business.

Now that Mercury is no longer retrograde as it was in October, November or December will be an ideal time to buy a computer. (Mercury rules moving parts, so electronics are not the items you want to buy when Mercury is retrograde. Mercury rules buying and selling of all kinds too, so it really isn't a time when you'd likely get the best value for your money.)

It may help to know that Mercury will go retrograde again from January 11-February 1, 2009, so I will caution you NOT to buy a computer in January - not during ANY of the days in January. We all feel the affects of Mercury's static and slowdowns at least ten days before its actual turn to retrograde, so you would do best to hold off buying your computer in January. For most of us, a computer is a big purchase, so you want to do so at the right time!

Mercury will go direct on February 1, 2009, but I would like you to leave a few days beyond that date, say, until February 4 before you shop. So you have a choice - to purchase your computer any time from now through the end of December, or wait until after February 4. I always find buying a computer a big day! It's like bringing a baby home from the hospital - you feed it lots of new software and it learns to talk to you! I always have had a really close, warm relationship with my computers and sometimes I even talk to my little guys. I have five Macs here because we need several computers, but I am always really excited when it's time to buy a new one! Oh, yes, that's always a big day!

While we are on the subject of looking ahead, I have to warn you about a particularly angry full moon that will come up next month, just prior to the holidays, December 12. This full moon will fall in Gemini and light your house of career, but there are problems. This full moon will be in hard angle to Mars, Uranus, Saturn, and the Sun. That is a lot of planetary activity, and I will, of course, talk about it next month. It will bring a conclusion to something having to do with your career. It could be someone is leaving, and it causes shock waves throughout the company.

The reason I am talking about this full moon now is that you know that your attention will be pulled in another direction on that Friday, and your emotions will be stirred up through the weekend, December 13-14. That's a popular weekend to shop, ship, and decorate the house, but I feel whatever comes up this weekend will cause those holiday activities to slide. If you have children depending on you to talk to Santa about getting certain presents for them, you may find it hard to get through to Santa, if you catch my meaning. This is why I ask you to shop in November, when you have everything going for you, and finish up your shopping, wrapping, and shipping no later than December 9. If you put up a Christmas tree, I would like you to have it up by December 9 if possible, too.

After the full moon arrives December 12 plus or minus three days, you will be preoccupied, and by the time you regain your balance it will be December 20 or so, which is really late! Why pay high shipping costs for packages you couldn't ship earlier? Get ready for the holiday in November, and you will be SO glad you did. This year the stores will have plenty of sales, so you will not miss out on those. Also, stores will have lower inventory than usual, so you won't be disappointed with your selection in November.

All the mutable signs will see certain unexpected developments come up at this full moon. Mutable signs include Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, and Sagittarius. If you were born on September 13 plus or minus five days, you will feel this full moon strongest.

Do I take my own advice? Yes! I am putting my Christmas tree up on December 6, and I have never done so that so early! I have a warm New York City apartment and that is why I usually wait until December 14 to put it up. I will keep the heat turned down very low this year to keep the tree fresh. I don't mind wearing heavy sweaters if it means a prettier Christmas! I have also made my list and checked it twice for shopping. Once you make your list, you are ready to go!

Going back to November, if you are writing down the dates I am giving you (a good idea) I would like to say something else about a date I mentioned earlier, November 27. If you recall, that's the date Uranus will go direct, allowing you to interact more smoothly with a partner. Uranus has been retrograde for five months, so the change should be noticeable.

November 27 will also be the date of the new moon in your home and family sector, and on that day, a crowd of planets will brilliantly light this area too, just in time for you to spiff things up for the holidays. You may be getting ready to entertain, or you may want to make some quick changes in your space to make it more comfortable for those who live with you. It's a good time to pick up a new piece of furniture or to make repairs, or to simply clean out closets to make room for the new things that may arrive next month as gifts.

Mars will enter this same home-and-property area of your chart from November 16 to December 27, so you can get A LOT of things done in your home and make it look like it's ready for a photo in your favorite decorating magazine. Mars won't be back until October 2010, so while you have this energetic planet to help you, go to it!

If you've been trying hard to sell property or buy a house / condo that you have your heart set on, you will get a solid opportunity to do so at this time, too. Your luck will extend from mid-November into December, but the energy of this trend will be strongest and most fortunate for you from November 27 to December 9. Make your deal now through December, or table the decision for six months from now.

Romantically you may be looking at a complete re-examination of your relationship. Saturn and Uranus will move into direct opposition on November 4, a rare aspect. This has not occurred since 1965 to 1968. This time, Saturn and Uranus will have a toe-to-toe 180-degree opposition several times in coming months, to occur twice in 2009 (February 5 and September 15).

After that, in 2010, Saturn and Uranus will oppose one another exactly three times, on April 26, July 26, and December 5, 2010.

As you see, this is the first of a series. This usually indicates the opening of a dialog that you may have with your partner, or if you feel you've been in a very unhappy relationship for years, then you may come to the point where you realize that things won't ever get better and finally find the courage to leave.

If you have been in a bad relationship, you will need to face certain realities and make appropriate moves. These planets will simply reveal to you what you have been unable or unwilling to see so that you and your partner can move on, together or apart.

If your relationship is strong, however, you may not feel any affect, as this is simply a testing aspect, meant to show you how strong or weak your relationship happens to be. The more I study astrology, the more I realize that the universe wants you to use your time on earth productively, dear Virgo, and the universe also wants you to be happy. This aspect will test close business partnerships, too. Be mindful that you will have the option to heal any problems that come up. Although Uranus is known for engendering impulsive moves, Saturn will temper that reaction, and if you like, you can work on any problems you see come up.

Single Virgos will have it far easier. You have Jupiter, the planet of luck and happiness, in your fifth house of true love, and will meet up with Venus on November 30-December 1. This will be one of the most beautiful, solid gold aspects of the year - this is the day to be out circulating, for sure. Venus only meets up with Jupiter rarely, once a year in a glorious conjunction, and remarkably, this year these two planets of happiness, Venus and Jupiter, will meet in your house of true love. You seem ready to walk down a whole new path, wiser now that you've learned a great deal from past ties.

There will be two other side benefits on November 30-December 1 - your creativity should reach new heights! It's a great day to show an idea for approvals or to agree on a price for creative services. It's also an ideal day for a pampering spa treatment!

News about children or a pregnancy, or something you do on behalf of a small child on November 30-December 1, would make you feel wonderfully warm inside.

Earlier in the month, there are other magical days for love. Put a gold star on November 10, 11, 12, and 13, and if you are traveling, you'll have double fun.

On November 21, when the moon is in Virgo, Jupiter (happiness) will send a golden beam to Saturn (longevity), linking your house of love and marriage. What a day to promise your love! You may get engaged or married, with beautiful vibrations to help you.

Single Virgos will want to be out and about on Friday, November 28, when Venus will wink at Uranus. Chemistry is about to be very special with someone new!
